Love this build and the frame too, it looks like a very cool bike to ride on. For the name I would go with the backstory of the tires, so I would name the bike "April fool"😉
Since buying the Xtrada-6 recently, I am re-discovering the fun of a good hardtail myself. Really great at putting pedal power onto the trail efficiently!
... interesting choice with the tires. I don't hate it but... I'm not sure what to think. But I do think ya gotta clean up and shorten those hoses and cable housing. The front looks like a bowl of spaghetti.
You can not buy a nice fs for the price I bought my commencal meta ohlins for with the discounts and Black Friday on top of it. My 14 trek slash was almost 2k more when I bought it new
La carcasa Maxxis minion DHR2 Exo o Exo Plus es muy buena. Carcasa Continental Kryptotal Trail Ambos son muy buenos neumáticos que funcionan bien y diferentes condiciones.
Dude, I mean, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. and don't be mad for what I'm about to say... That's one ugly bike.. god the color scheme is horrendous.. Pink tyres with orange frame with.. what in the Lord.. If you did that to troll everyone, you got me
I knew it would be polarizing. 😀 TBH i got sick of looking at the pink tires. I replaced the saddle and switched to black Maxxis tires, which changed the look dramatically. You can see what it looks like at my instagram page if you're curious. instagram.com/p/Cum2-u1gMqB/?igshid=NzZhOTFlYzFmZQ==
A couple of reasons. This is my main bike and my local trails favor a lighter more nimble bike. The ElRoy is best when pointed downhill. Also I prefer 27.5in wheels and the El Roy is 29. I do want to build one for downhill parks eventually but there's no budget for it at the moment.
Sick build dude! I love the colorway of the frame! 🔥 I just got my first hardtail - 2023 Marin Bobcat Trail 5. It is fun to ride and it gets the job done after a few upgrades 😎
Nice frame build i personality would have gone red and black or just red tires ,had my older bike like that, looks cool anyway got three names for you, 1( candy floss) 2 ( ripple) 3 (optimas) lol i call my handrail grimlock
"The Jumpsuit" It's orange like a prison jumpsuit and the frame model is named after a prison. Double meaning on the "jump" part of jumpsuit with the way you'll be riding it.
Nice build man, I have a stock 2022 san quentin 3 and its epic. Wish it came stock with more than 130mm of travel though, finding it a bit tough racing enduro.
The frame color is unique and it was a challenge getting the right colors. When you see it in person it's quite a sight and the colors work well but it won't appeal to everyone.
They are very similar. I would say that the Marin is slightly more playful and a little better on climbs. The Marley is slightly better on steeper downhills. The Marin is a better jumper.
@@AdrenalineIsLife happy you got your dream build done! I’m looking for a 27 for the pump track. You say the marin jumps better but wouldn’t it be a bit worse on the track since it’s less playful and longer than the Marley?
I can’t believe they would use that tiny bolt for the edc tool. They used to use those on pro scooter forks and they sucked so imagine how sketch it would be on a mtb
the ghost kato i have is like that on camera (red) then orange on video. Ghost calls it riot red of monarch orange. its like neon red. we i was buying orange grips to match it. it was way off until i got some sdg thrice ones that were red and it suited the bike better
It is just as fun but slightly different. The Marley likes steep terrain a little better while the Marin corners a little better and is more poppy. They are very negligible differences and some of that is due to component selection.
@@apollokidd8273 They are both very compliant. I would give a slight edge to the Marley but you won't go wrong with either. Btw, the Marley Frame is on sale for half price right now.
