The movies are definitely worth watching. For the OVAs: The All Might Rising is really short, Training of the Dead is very silly but fun, Do-or-Die Survival training is the best one i think that one is 2 parts.

You know... That moment back when Midoriya said Bakugo's impressive? It's like they're telling that Bakugo isn't entirely reckless or just impulsive. He can do things well in his own way. His good heroic qualities are just overshadowed by his unheroic attitude.

I hope you're also gonna watch the ONA "Make it! Do-or-Die Survival Training" because it's a fan favourite of those special episodes. But it came out after season 4 so it's still a bit of time of you're gonna watch it. But I just wanted to inform you about that ONA because it's very good. And yes, please watch the movies! Both are canon. And I believe the third one that will come out at the end of october is also canon, though I am not 100% sure.

There's also like a 8 minute episode named *All Might Rising* shows some backstory of all might and his master. My Hero Academia: All Might Rising is one of the two specials linked to the movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. It is 8 minutes long. Even though the events of episode 1 take place before Season 1 of the show, you must watch it after the movie (Total Watch order in reply )

One thing I noticed is that in the OVAs Bakugo was worse than he ever is in actual show and it's probably just because it's more fun to write him being super chaotic all the time but unfortunately it doesn't factor in things like his intelligence

True. I noticed this about Kaminari too, as the anime exclusive episodes tend to exaggerate his personality a bit, especially his antics with Mineta.

The reason they can say shit and other way worse stuff is because OVA doesen't air on a TV so they don't need to censor it, they also make more brutal scenes

I havent seen any of the OVAs or movies. but i think some are cannon. In the later manga a couple random characters make an appearance and i was told they were from the movies.

I know you girls have chosen to do the sub version. There's a lot of fan arguing over sub vs dub. BUT you should rewatch on your own the dub version. There are a LOT of GREAT voices in the dub version. BUT the most important voice that you must hear is All Might. Done by Chris Sabat. His voice is as smooth as melted butter. I would be shocked 😲 if I was the first to mention All Might's English voice. No exaggeration, it really is WONDERFUL. It would be a shame if you miss out on hearing it.
