Classic Caroline.... LOVE this!!!! Wow, aren't affordable products amazing nowadays? You used to be able to tell them apart from higher end products on someones face a mile off, now these non-budget busters plus your amazing application tips are just the perfect combination. Also much joy for your normalising of bloopers and showing how to correct, it's this being real that makes you so easy to connect with and know that you're 'one of us'. Thank you so much, Caroline, your videos on a Saturday morning are so appreciated and looked forward to. X
Lovely - the lip colour is amazing, so flattering on you Caroline! One of my favourite looks. Learning so much with your trial and error, the 2nd blusher again very flattering on your colouring. Totally love the perfected skin with subtle colours, added to the punchier cheek/ lip. Will give this a try. Definitely love to see more of 'your mates' in your videos as it's always helpful to see other people with different hair colours/ skin tones, etc.. 💖💖💖
I think most makeup artists presume that if you are in your late 40’s early 50,s that you have dry skin or are dehydrated, both of which I’m not. I have oily/combo skin so would love to see more make up and pore filling products/makeup for this skin type. Thanks 😊
I’ve spent hundreds on various foundations and yet my ultimate favourite is L’Oreal infallible pro glow, everything about it is perfect even the shade range for my difficult to match light neutral skin ( I often have to buy two shades and mix them ) I’m not buying any more expensive foundations anymore !! Great video xx
Appreciate how natural your approach is Caroline. Lovely relaxed style and not super edited...you really keep it real ....loved the blush moment, lol 😂!! Thank-you xx
This has made me realise that I can have lovely products within my affordability! Thank you Caroline! I’ve only just discovered you on RU-vid and loving your channel! ❤
Lots of different brands used, you had me at bourjois!! My 17 year old self thought she had really made it when I purchased a French named brand and it was the most beautiful blush. Nostalgic ❤
I always look forward to Saturday ‘Caroline’ day! I need to keep reinforcing the gradual building up on skin, to stop myself being too heavy handed. You always pull a look together like a work of art - your eye for tone and colour is spot on. And such fun and positivity too ❤
When I was growing up it was easy to find Max Factor products in the United States, but now not so much. Hope the brand makes a reappearance here. Thanks for all the tips.
Love your easy going style Caroline and loved you and Fiona together too! I like to try out your application tips as you have a 'less is more' vibe - I don't go in for heavy make up.
I love this video! And some of the products are actually available where I live, so I'll definitely be checking them out. Could I (very humbly 😁) ask for a tutorial or some tips on eye makeup for green eyes with ashy hair?
I love your videos, fun to listen, great humor, full of positivity, even hilarious today… and thank you for your great content!❤️ I appreciate your tipps and tricks which have helped me to improve my makeup looks immensely . Thank you, Caroline
Would you make a film about cream blush? There aren’t many brands that make it (surprisingly), when I went to the Sephora website there were only 3 products shown, and at the drugstore I found only 1. I have enormous pores, and powder blush just sits on top, exacerbating. There are sticks that are “cheeks lips eyes”, but for whatever reason those always make my cheeks break out.
Morning Caroline, first check on my weekend list -watching your video first thing in the morning, ✔️ Love the look, especially the mascara(impressive 👍)have a great weekend
Love watching your videos, now in my 40s and trying to find what suits my skin and colours . Especially my foundation shade.. I had been looking at the revolution silk. Any tips on finding the best shade to suit?..💕
Thanks for showing how to correct overdone blusher, that will come in handy this weekend as I'm trying the Fenty cream blusher😂 Really enjoy your videos with my big mug of tea and a bacon sandwich on a Saturday morning. ❤
Lush! Oh you made me chuckle with the door! Exactly the same here 😂 I'm after a new lippie for my handbag but tend to veer away from mattes because of the dryness. I'll definitely take a look at Revolution. Thank you 😊
I love that lipstick colour on you with your blonde hair. At the end of the day who knows how many people would know what an expensive face of make up is compared to drugstore? Oh and I had not realised that Bourgeois had gone and come back. I must go and hunt some out. Another lovely tutorial thanks Caroline. By the way my son who is no longer a teenager would not have got the door either…it gets no easier!
This is such a fantastic video, I’ve been watching this on my iPad and noting everything down on my phone for when I next go to Boots 😊😊. Love hearing you speak about the thought process of each product - thanks Caroline 😊😊 xx
YOU HAVE NAILED IT YET AGAIN !!!! Think I requested this video a little while ago 😊 for us folks working as carers and workers on minimum wage etc !! You truly are top of the tree in your artistry !! Thankyou so so much !! ❤❤❤
As always you give me such great tips on how to get the best from my make up application. I have relatively small lips and find putting lipstick on a bit hit or miss, so your tips today will help me a lot to get my lips looking somewhat better than they are when nude 😁. Love your final look, I’ve been using and liking a few cheaper makes, Revolution, Elf and Revlon. Certainly on par with the higher end makes I use. You’ve made me smile again, so I can say “ Caroline, your work is done “ 😂. Until the next video……
I use dermatica as well with tretinoin but thought it was only to be used at night as to avoid any sunlight? Maybe your prescription is a different prescription? Just curious. Thanks
Beautiful makeup, you’ve taught me so much over the years & always with joy ❤ ps yes, love you bringing in some friends too & I have to say I greatly appreciate that they are ‘our age’, it’s refreshing & relatable 😊
That mascara looked amazing! Let us know if it yields results. Btw my favourite cheaper blush is the Max Factor Creme Puff blush. It's so good and one of the only blushes I have rebought multiple times. Emma x
A massive thank you for the Revolution Soft Satin lipstick recommendation Caroline 👏🏻. I’m normally a Charlotte Tilbury girl but decided to try these and they are amazing. I got the Berry Boss (not my usual shade, but getting adventurous in my old age) plus x2 others. Superdrug have them on 3 for 2 at the moment, what a bargain! Love, love, love them. Thank you so much 😊 PS Best lipsticks I’ve tried in a long time.
New to your channel, enjoyed your practical and down to earth way of applying make up. I love watching make up reviews and tutorials but some just make it so complicated with a million different brushes. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. Thanks 👍🏼
Please help I have mature skin but the last 35 years I have only ever used powder eye shadow I don't have a clue on this new trend everything is cream can you please can you do something with powder shadow s I have so many I really ant afford to go a d buy all new stuff I live Cyprus and I ca,t always get all the new makes 🎉❤
Loved this, thank you Caroline. I had a gun metal bourgeois eyeshadow, which I used to wear when I went out clubbing in the 90’s. Thought I was the bees knees ❤ If any consolation teenage girls also don’t answer the door 😂
So I missed morning coffee with Caroline because I was running out the door. But my evening with you was just as good. LOVE this video. The lipstick is killer! I've descovered some revolution cleansers & moisturizers and am eager to get my hands on the makeup. Thank you! 💄❣️
Beautiful, simple makeup look. I’ve just bought some of the products you used! Thanks for finding some ‘cheapy but goodie’ products. Feels like I can have a little treat without worrying about spending a fortune. 🥰
Thank you for these recommendations Caroline! Also one question, will you be doing Kylie's makeup for the Brits tonight? I went in 2022 and it was amazing, but I wish I got tickets for this years one too ❤
Enjoyed this! Thanks! Did you know you can put regular nail polish over gel nails? you can take it off with nail polish remover and the gel isn't damaged.
Hi Caroline! Omggg! Those bourgeois (probably spelt wrong sorry) but THE SECOND you mentioned the smell, I was transported back to the early 90’s and getting ready in my bedroom with my mates! 😆 and I could smell it! How bizarre! They were beautiful blushers! I had a few and wore them for years ☺️ so nostalgic 🫶🏻 thank you! Much love xxx
You’re a ray of sunshine… look forward to my Saturday morning watch📹💅🏻💄 Please can you do a “mother of the groom” make up too - I have 18mths to prepare 😅😂😂
Caroline, I just love that your videos are not heavily edited. And that blush trick to remove the excess! This happens to me a lot 😂 but now I know how to fix it properly! Thanks so much for sharing!
I love it when say 'frock'. You're showing your age Caroline. We used to say frock in the 80's. Beautiful look, but you always look beautiful and you're so relatable. When you came back from answering the door saying 'Just breathe, bloody teenagers', I laughed out loud.
Affordable skincare = democratic retail...I use and love the La Roche-Posay SPF, been using it for the last few years, and will be taking it to Turkey too at the end of the month.
Thanks for this video Caroline, love that these are high street and also new products. Love a pigmented lipstick those revolutions lippies look fab!! Xxx❤
I noticed in boots they don't have foundation or any other. Testers out. Or maybe my local boots seem to be very unhelpful I've bought so many foundations in the wrong shade
So true that as we get older we don’t spend time getting ready with our friends 💋such fun to watch you trying out new products. I’m a similar skin and eye colour to you, albeit a few years older,so I find the colours you choose helpful. Maybe if you have friends on your channel it would be interesting to see someone with a different skin tone and eye colour? Personally I love it when your mum visits 😆Thanks for showing us fab new products to try 👍🏻💄
The Revolution blush looks like a dupe for Mac peaches. You recommended lash freak by rimmel last year, it’s soooo good and I normally use high end mascara. The lipsticks remind me of a dupe for the new Westman atelier ones
Beautiful Caroline! Love the look you came up with, gorgeous with your creamy top. Biggest takeaway for me is to experiment with more punchy color on lips and cheeks. I tend to always go timid. As always, you inspire us! 💗
What a beautiful classy look on you! Thank you as always for or your helpful tips, especially the concealer/powder around the nose. I am always trying to cover the redness here but as soon as i go outside I have to blow my nose and its all for naught. 😂 The lipsticks are so pretty.
Caroline You're just genius! I hope to be seeing some of these products in the US. Or I'll have to wait until I go on Holiday & then it's already late Spring!
That's a beautiful look. I would have gone for the original blusher but your final choice looked the best 😊. Love those gold earrings! AND my teenage boys never answer the front door...don't think they know what the doorbell means...! Thanks for lovely Saturday morning with cuppa again x
