My Highest Mileage Car Yet- 2011 Crown Victoria NYC Taxi LWB With Over Half A Million Miles! 

I spoke to a woman driving a CrownVic taxi a few weeks ago on Amsterdam Ave. She said her car was the last CV cab in NYC.

Let that sink in: 575,000 stop light to stop light miles. NOT highway miles. Incredible.

and it still starts up as great as it did fresh from the factory, those modular 4.6's just never stop!

That is so awesome! Those cars are soooo iconic. I'd love to bring one down here to Florida for a proper retirement. I'd park it right next to my retired Fire Rescue Crown Vic.

This was a car many of us from Generations X, Y, and Z grew up from childhood to early adulthood. It was fortunate enough for me to catch at least 2 NYC Taxi FCVs last year. They were like living time capsules, if that's an appropriate description. The city should preserve one at a state/city museum because of their valuable history. R.I.P. I wish the police version would've come with those all- vinyl front seats, but for some reason only the taxi package cars came with them.

Bring back body on frame Crown Vics America needs to build this again instead of the modern plastic fantastic car's junk built today.
