My own design. Drawn in CAD, all parts laser cut & welded together. All steel table & gantry, all powder-coated, 1200x1200 work area. Has 2 E-stop buttons, limit & home switches on all axis, auto tool zero & router/spindle on/off control by Gcode. Shown with a small router and scrap MDF spoilboard.
Uses a Dell PC running Mach3 to control it.

Thanx. As this was my first build, I decided to use roller chain on X & Y axis. Turned out really well, I'd use it again. I did use rack & pinion on the Z axis as it worked best for my compact design

Hey Naude. That's great to hear, I was wondering how it turned out. I'd love to see it in action. Any chance of a vid?

Very cool and clean design, ingenious the machined rack on the z plate (or laser cutted?), congratulations anyway.

I've sold the router, so I can't help with more pictures or videos, sorry. The motors were Nema23, approx 450oz-in IIRC and I used a TB6560 4 axis driver to drive them.

The z axis uses V bearings, everything else uses normal bearings

No dust extraction, there isn't that much dust doing the cabinets that I have been doing.

hello Note that I'm french. Here, I wish realize I, too, a CNC routers and I watched your video and I think your cnc is very powerful and very aesthetic. If possible, I souaité know how you were made translation systems in general, since we do not see them, and the engines that we see little, and this confers to this cnc all its aesthetic. is it possible to have pictures?? Thank you for your advice
