Back in the 1970’ s we were doing some night testing. I was using an AR180. With a single point red dot. Don't understand estimate these were the trijicon of the time. So I whipped up a LED light source that fit over the "Ruby rod end". There were no lighted scopes there were lasers but these cost $3-4K heavy and had a laser tube. size of a scope and hung under the barrel. I was the only one with multiple hits on the targets. But you know the drill. Don't change you stance, grip, lockup, follow your day light drill just without light. Also consider a light of the 1970's was a mag d. Or c-cell light the minimag were a few years off. The picatinney quad rails were 20 years off. My first forward grip was a salvaged grip off a scalped UV light and a hose clamp. It never got well. It is so easy today.
i built a 10.5 pistol for home defense, i kinda regret it. its effin' loud out at the range, cant imagine poppin' off a few shots in a rooom at 2 in the morning while youre still half asleep. may add a suppressor in the future. thank you for your service ✌
Changing your set up for range ,to home def doesn't sound like your getting to practice with the setup THAT is for saving your life.... Might want to give it some thought....just saying couldn't listen after that ..sorry kid
Just taking the excess off for home defense. Would’ve realized that if you didn’t close your mind to what I was saying after hearing I changed the setup lol
