I was pretty sure it was a Jackson SC at first, but when I went back after seeing this comment, it look A LOT like Solar Single Cut. Headstock, look of pickups etc... Nicer than I imagined!

Thanks for another great studio tour video! You’re right about starting with what you’ve got and just going for it on RU-vid. I’ve been working on my stuff on RU-vid since 2008 and I’m still getting better and better gear. Just got my new camera last year and the Røde SmartLav last weekend. It’s been a long time coming :D I’m also so glad to see how IMMENSELY your channel has grown in the last year! It’s crazy to think how far you’ve come from your first few videos back in the day. Big, brutal, metal congratulations from Finland. Keep up the great content! -T

Ola i dont know if you believe in a higher power,but your blessed. Nice home,have a young family,good career,thriving you-tube channel. Be thankful,which im sure you are. The only thing i have going for me is being a single dad,having the joy of watching my son grow into the man that he is going to become. He is talented on the drums which brings me great joy as i fumble around with playing the guitar. Other than my son i have suffered from chronic illness for the past 20+ years,had over 20 operations and faced death a couple of times. So consider yourself blessed and fortunate because you never know what the future has in store for you. Love your channel🤘🤘🤘

Please Ola at some point make a video of your guitar and amp collection, I remember you mentioning that you keep a lot of guitars in their cases stored somewhere and I personally think it would be quite nice to see all the guitars and amps that you managed to collect throughout the years!

I wish I could go to namm!! That's the only way to sell guitars at fortis booth. Generate a quick buzz w an already media buzzing new brand.. just drop a quick sneak peek and watch everyone show up and drool over the new solar single cut... and we all the new fortin awesomeness!! that mini boss katana you have in the corner on the left behind something? I have the same exact thing I love the fact that it runs on six double a batteries and I can take it out and walk around with my electric guitar around one shoulder and the amplifier clipped to a backpack strap around the other shoulder LMAO they actually sound pretty damn good for little amps

God its refreshing to see a home studio that isn't trying to be a professional recording studio. So much needless expense... Where clearly your budget has gone on those Evangelion figures! (I know how expensive they can be!)

I always love it when home studios brag about "acoustic treatment" as if it matters at that level (beyond basic dampening). I love seeing that Ola's space is the same size as mine, and that his audio is great without some super expensive acoustic engineering. He proves that there is a lot more to audio production than room treatment, which makes me feel less bad about laughing at local studios who brag about how awesome their live rooms are, but put out shitty mixes.

Bruce Bales : I mean I still think some amount of room treatment is useful and will translate into a better sound than upgrading gear but either way skills are the most important thing to invest in to improve your sound.

It's not just a Solar, it's an Ola model! At first I wasn't sure if it was a Solar because I didn't see the Solar inlay on the 12th fret. But on further inspection, the inlay (and probably headstock logo as well) is black. Also, across the entire body there's the Ola Englund logo in black :o

Good advice that starting youtube thing. That has been somethign that i have thought, but havent figured out what would be my thing. So i am just filming song or two from gigs that i go. I feel it is good to "document" stuff thats going on. Also i think that one cup was Darkglass Electronics from Finland and not Neural. They make Really awesome pedals.

@@matthewtyler7230 It´s talent - the Japanese can build cars, the Chinese can copy pretty well, the Italians are good at wrecking things, the Russians can drink the most! So the Swedes have found their niche... ;-) Maybe Ola has a bit of Russian blood as well. I don´t know.
