I really like the 6 band EQ running into the printer. I am currently running a tube screamer and I upgraded to thicker paper for massive tone.

I added a BBE sonic maximizer to the effects loop on my flatbed scanner and now my tone is massive.

Great point at the end and oh so true. Looking at getting one of those Asus monitors when my home studio is replastered, i considered dual monitors but ultra wide would be preferable, rock on man!

OH, ok..I get it now. I was using a standard Cry Baby Wah to hold up the ass end of my computer screen, not the JP signature model. And now I'm on sweetwater looking for an affordable graphic eq pedal to enhance all my printing needs. That's why I love these studio walk through videos. Really gives us mortals an in depth look into the secret sauce that goes into successful RU-vid musicians.

Ola, glad you said your Mac computer is just OK. I see you also have mac laptop, but, would you considering moving to Windows in the near future? As you may know there is a big debate at the moment about the current situation with Mac and how much is the new board complicating the workflow for users.

I like to use a 10 Band EQ for my Printer, because the Layout is waaaay better. Sometimes i have a Compressor before my Printer too, just when i print smaller paper..

Jag har bara en enkel dator, en line6 POD interface och min Dean guitar och ändå har lärt mig att spela in musik och tack vare dig! Du kan kolla min senaste video där jag lyckades spela in en egen låt som är lite inspirerad av Pantera och mitt hjälte Dimebag :) Förresten! när ska man veta vem som vinner dina kalsonger? haha

Great video, tour as usual. So glad you talked about the fact that kids don't need all that gear. You deserve it, because you've worked for it and created value in the world. I am not jealous, because I realize you didn't get to where you are over night. I am sure it took a lot of work. People see guys like you, and hear a CD, or see a musician enjoying their sucess, and to many kids it's like you just came out of no where. What they don't see is the night after night of practice with a shitty guitar and gear for years, and the struggle before sucess. My young cousin who's like a son or nephew to me literally about starved on the road with his band, and then started to do recording for himself, then others. Now, if you didn't know better you would think he was born wealthy. Not true. He has a killer recording studio not far from Chicago called " Bang recording. " Check it out. Please Ola, give him a cheap plug. His name is John .. He will be forever in my debt and I will be the man if you just mention John from Bang recording. ;). 😉😉😀😀😀💝💝💝

If you want a better computer Ola you should look into building your own! I would look into maybe 16-32 gbs of ram and an I7 processor. I would also recommend a NVIDIA gtx 1070. That should be the main things in your build

Try using a noise gate in front of your printer, It will make the images more sharper

Hi Ola! I just tried the tip you gave to have an infinite sustain. DAMN it's so good right now! I can play way better and with speed and accuracy as i've never had before! Thanks so much! But i have no wall stand so my brand new sustain "necktar" is also used to block the door ( i do not use wah so... you know... ). Anyway, once again thanks for another funny video and i would mention your honesty at the end. You're totally right, we should not have much gear to play or create, but... we're basically gear addict right? And even if i have a few guitars and no talent, i will buy a Solar as soon as lefties will be available (and if my wallet is ok with that). Anyway, thanks again for being such a great musician and a viking comedian ;) Peace from Switzerland!

You need the Adam studio monitors Ola...There is no other monitor spkr you want after hearing the Adam with the ribbon tweeters which are unbelievably smooth and natural. After hearing my Adams all other spkrs sounded erm...crap..lol. I got the A7 which are amazing for the price and they use the same tweeters as their £250,000 Olympus spkrs:)

With that amp/mic setup, have you accidentally monitored the audio causing screeching feedback? What's it like?

Hey Ola! For the same type of music you are known for, would you recommend running a DI box in front of a Scarlett 2i2 for guitar? I am wondering if this will improve guitar quality or if you think the preamps in the 2i2 are sufficient.
