I had the same issue with my throttle. So the reason it kept applying power to the bike after letting off on the throttle is because of the throttle threshold response.nThere should be a way for you to tune it and increase the gap in the app. It essentially just thinks that the throttle is applied when you aren’t touching it. If you increase the gap, it should stop but don’t increase it too much or your throttle response will be wacky
Would you rather go with EMB or LH????? Interesting free Eggrider vs Regenerative brake plug-n-play. I feel like the regen brake lever could save a lot of money on brake pads
Thanks for the information on the suRrOn, i’m glad you kept identifying the sUrRoN so I was never confused that you were clearly talking about the SuRrOn. Just say the name fucking normal please
Nice, great vid tons of info here. Really helps with people "on the fence" when it comes to performance upgrades. Have alot of upgrades on my ride except performance 🤣 but at least i feel i could "talk" my way out of having problems with the po po (have the petal kit) not fully functional but ha ha /yeh, after changing controller etc and other mods, prob not so much. Anyway great stuff, great video editing also btw. -Cheers
Good vid 👍 So you had to bypassed the batteries BMS which was limiting the current draw? Are you not worried to over draw current and over heat the batteries, potential fire? Cheers
😆 initially I was not, there more I ran it the more the possibility ran thru my mind, I’ve since deployed to a new battery. Thanks for the compliment sir

Everyone who purchased ABCA 4000 or an 8000 for their seron or any E bike. literally has wasted their money. Those controllers are not made. for E bikes. They're literally made for farming. equipment and that's why you have laggy input. and not as customability. as an actual ebyte production controller like Torp TM500 or the TM1000 and kind of sucks to see everyone recommending that controller and people that really haven't researched. the ins and out of E bikes to the. extent that they can actually make their own informed decision knowing the specifications of that control
After some time, would you still recommend this controller? I have the 2023 surron c w the 38 ah battery. Planning on getting the controller soon and keeping stock battery for now.
Sounds like your throttle wasn't calibrated or it was incorrectly calibrated. You are kind of at the mercy of the dealer to "tune" your bike. I would like to tune/edit my controller myself... I bought the KO motor controller for this reason.
Great video as always! I meant to ask you, have you had any interactions with police officers positive or negative? I’m planning on getting the electric power pedal kit, and not cutting the wire to keep it at 28 Miles per hour, however it seems the SurRon has gotten a lot of negative attention because of the many kids in my area ripping wheelies down busy streets going 45+ miles per hour :-/ I’m in orange county.
so you basically spent 4500 dollars on an electric dirtbike to use it as an electric bicycle that only goes 28 mph... Could have just gotten a Super73 for cheaper and same experiance
Can you help me with configuring the settings on my eggrider v2 to gle bac4000 on 60v battery not bypassed? I can't get help anywhere, I've tried contacting every person you can think of.
I’m tempted to add a gas bike to the stable too, I love the Sur Ron for its versatility to ride where bicycles go, and no money on gas (as I spend $2300 on a new battery 😂)
sounds like the Ctl is supplying trickle voltage. Perhaps looks at the wiring and install a zener diode on a wire to then readout to block parasitic voltages the shouldn't be there. , Or maybe the throttle is not going back to zero positions should inducing slight throttle request? Need to examine these things.
bro you guys waste so much money upgrading sur rons. you could have made your own brackets and had a 10kw controller for $500. oh man you used a lighter on shrink wrap.... a hair dryer or heat gun are better. the problem with your throttle applying low power by itself is that some controllers use a different voltage range for their throttles. your throttle might just be making the controller think your throttle is engaged. You should be able to change all the regen settings by getting deep into the actual controller on the bac. with the cable and computer app.
I’d love to know how to get a 10kw controller for $500, how do you? Thanks for your input on the throttle applying power, hope the problem doesn’t come back
I've bought one and there saying dint delivery too the UK 🇬🇧 and not refunded my I watch green line company its a scam sent 6 emails no reply ask too be paid so I paid and there cancel the order after payment was made in full £900,00 pound stillno refund going through PayPal too get the money back sad company I'm British don't bye
Hey man! was curious, are you running 19" wheels and shinko 244? Got 12" mini motos but really wanting to put bigger wheels back on as its super limiting on the off roading you can do
Yep, stock wheels with shinko 244, the video on my homepage shows all the upgrades. Have been thinking about swapping to the 241 trials style to see the difference. I’m happy 😃. Would be nice to try new wheels one day!
Can the bac4000 be used for the stock battery bypassed and also a 72v when you have a chance to upgrade? On the website it asks if youll be using a 72v or a bypassed stock battery. Can the same bac4000 do both? Im new to this so any info is helpful. Thanks! Also, from what i understand, buying it from emoto bros comes tuned whereas green line engineering versoon does not? As in the emoto bros version has an app and software to tune it. Is this true?
You’d really regret having bought that green line controller. Also everyone knows and emotibros states you need to bypass the battery hats not a “disappointment” Remove you brake sensors
That was my first thought too, but it wasn’t the case. This throttle has quite a bit of dead space in the first part of the rotation, I feel certain this was not the issue, I checked for it multiple times
@@JuicedJoyrides I’m an engineer. Pretty much simple for me. I guess I should make a video on this but would piss some people making these controllers!!
@@JuicedJoyrides sounds like you have a lot of fun on it by how you say it. Weirdly was probably the wrong word to use but I am a bit retarded sometimes
