I’m really hoping 2K will be an EA killer. For far too long they’ve released unfinished games for full price when it’s essentially a carbon copy from the year below. For career mode players like myself, it really really wouldn’t take much for us to make the move. It’s just really unfortunate that Licence’s are massive part of realism these days because something as simple as that can make or break a game. It really confuses me why developers can’t make a decent football game. Surely to god it’s so simple. It’s such a shame how far FIFA has fallen, some of the best memories were past FIFA’s.
@@AIAnimalCare I’ve played fifa since FIFA 99, I know what it takes for a decent game & it wouldn’t be hard to make a better game than these brain dead idiots! All they need to do is listen to us but they won’t even do that.
Total cost to produce FIFA/FC every year now is between 200-300 million. And that game has been around for three decades. People expecting a new company to make a game more polished straight away in an early beta build are crazy.
Sadly the game already has the feel of one where they are trying to clone Ultimate Team before thinking about anything else. Which means it will be a money grab, probably no career mode or if there is one it will be second rate. Sad when companies think about the money before the fans. The world needs something different to Fifa / EAFC not just a poor clone

Everyone take consideration that the players they both have are 60-70 rated. Passing looks good, shooting good, goalkeeping good. They all feel a lot more realistic than fifa in terms of speed. Nets , Touches , Op metas do need to be fixed but yeah shouldn’t be too hard. Looks a good online game icl.
Quite rough??? EA hasn't tried anything new in a decade... And Konami's eFootball beta was so broken, it WAS WORSE than this. These guys 1st go at things, and look what they already have in a beta. As far as First timer, Beta rating goes: 7.5!!!
A lot of the complaints you have about the gameplay is literally just because the game doesn’t hold your hand as much as FIFA does. There’s far less AI support.
Less support is fine but they do absolutely nothing You can only control 1 outfield player and whilst you do the 9 do absolutely nothing and dont even look the right way most of the time Once you get control of a player he just skates all over the place Jockey button is the most pointless thing in the game. It does absolutely nothing and doesnt even change animation There is no 360 degree turning and only 8 directions to turn like a 1994 game It takes 3 seconds just to turn around Whole game is horrendous and never at any stage have they ever had a prayer of competing with EA
You should help them with the game development. We might be able to finally have a perfect sim type football game in our hand where PES passing and slow pace mixes with FIFA's gameplay. For a first time game, they did pretty good imo

A FOOTBALL game that a review has most of a 35 mins video looking at 'Squad building screens' and 'unlockeables' and not gameplay Defo not for me. I Hate this generation.
@@brontosa5351totally agree, I’ve played it a bit and it has serious potential as game you can actually grind rather than being left behind by pay to win players. It’s a great option for people that don’t want to play a game as toxic as FC is.
I remember when graphics for a football game used to be important. I don’t hear anyone mentioning graphics anymore, to the point I made the move to PES before they committed commercial suicide because I was that desperate for better gameplay. We’re so desperate for better content and better gameplay that we literally couldn’t care less about graphics anymore. Graphics are getting better but the core of the game is getting progressively worse.
@@AmBobbyMudda that’s why this game has a lot of potential. Sure it depends on where the devs go when it comes to content, but the gameplay has a great chance to be gameplay that’s actually playable for everyone without a set “meta”.
I mean the whole fact that it's a f2p based off ultimate team is worrying. However I hope it does well so it provides competition in the market. The reason EA don't improve their game is because they have no competition and pretty much have a monopoly on the market.
They said the whole model was based on skilled based play and any money you put into the game is purely for cosmetic. So hopefully you won't get these guys buying untold packs and getting unfair advantage and don't see the point for scripting like we see in FIFA. If they can add a career mode or teams mode then it will definitely be able to challenge EA but your right they don't need to do much as PRO messed up big time and they don't have any real competition.
Why people compare it to FC24 instead of reality? Players turn too slowly? No.. they turn too quickly in FC.. facts. That's why people liked PES because it was more of simulator than arcade. Football games should be much slower
1st of all some of the mechanism in this game makes no sense. The players are too slow to turn within 360 degrees? You turn like a bus! You can't defend at times, feel like a.i scripting pulling the defender away from going towards the ball. Every time I try to take the ball from someone they run wide because they know you can't turn properly. (SPAM already found) Majority of the time the defenders are running in the wrong directions away from the ball wtf This game is not ready at all. Making the same mistakes like efootball with their bus turning movement. Not ready! Rating 3.5/10
At first i was like how can people say this game is/was better then FIFA/EAFC but then i remembered how that 1 year playing FIFA on XBOX was and i realized the issue, i play EAFC/FIFA on PC on like 4-8ms ping avarage. Sure even on 4-8ms ping it aint exactly Squad Battles smooth but still smoother then on consoles. UFL got potential though but its a bit worrying that after all the years its been in development its still far from good but then again thats probably why EA doesn`t really change the base code much and just stacks on it.

Ngl, played a few yesterday and I'd probably play more if it had offline career mode, i just don't want to play against ppl online. Develop an offline mode and tweak the gameplay a little (as it has potential to seem like an updated version of old pes6) then I'll come along for the ride fr.

I actually enjoy the player motion much more than fc24. Feels more natural and fluid like real life vs the fc24 twitchy unrealistic hyper fast movements. I intentionally make my players move more naturally in fc24 because the hyper fast and ice skate weird movements bother me haha. This looks better already
You absolute shill. More natural my arse, players like ronaldo knocking the ball miles away after a simple turn is beter that eafc? Never watched a real match where top pevel professionals turn like a biss and can controll the ball for more than a step
FIFA 14 is up there as one of the best football games ever made. You’re using that as an example to try slate the game but you’ve compared it to a great game 🤦🏼♂️ FIFA 14 was ANYTHING but sluggish. It’s better than modern day FIFA’s.
I know its a beta but i found the gameplay sometimes was way to fast. Some of the through balls or over the top the camera couldn't keep up with it making it feel a little "arcadey" i think if they polish some game play mechanics and animations it deffo can challenge EA. And for a future road map they will need to implement a pro clubs type game or career/team mode. If not they need to really deep dive into your club, meaning letting you manage your club and building it up, extending stadium/training facilities etc. I can see it getting pretty tedious if its just quick match online mode.

How can you have an offline mode when there is one licensed team? The gameplay for me is good, no scripting and it feels realistic none of this too fast stuff you get the ball and have to think about it which is good!
Only online and only an ultimate team type game mode? I’m sorry but no amount of amazing gameplay will ever make me want to play a game that’s solely meant for online ultimate team type play. HELL NO.
It’s just a start I think over the next several years they will expand it but it will probably take 2-3 years before it’s a football game with all the features and game modes. That’s my guess.
Honestly, the game has a really cool vibe. Just they need to improve the gameplay animation "like the referee walk, movement without ball..etc".. One other thing is the offline game mode🙂they totally need to add it😂
i think everyone should take this into consideration: This game wont be, and shouldnt feel like fifa / EA FC, because its different game, and it has to have its own identity, and i hope it will feel more realistic than fifa

Guys, it's a game done by passionate professionals with a very low budget. You are comparing it to fc24 that has been the main franchise for decades, their game is virtually a continuum since 2008, you cannot say this is bad so cold. It can improve and it's showing that there will be good alternatives for Fifa in some years.
There is nowhere near enough animations for the variety of the situations possible. Every pass looks the same, no variety in how their body movements etc, they need to do better.
so how the old fifas were ? all those extra animations that make the new fifas dog shit with so much random dog shit meta animations that ruin the games.

Can’t these games make AI generated Faces for the bigger players?? I thought that’s what they did with Barca players since EA doesn’t have the Sponsor for Barca
This also looks like a pinball machine...too fast the movements of the players, too fast certain passes, too much frenzy, but still a little better than the normal speed of Ea sports.. yes the net moves in an unappropriate way
If UFL doesn’t have licenses for player faces and teams….how does EAFC have Barca in the game, Ronaldo KDB face etc….surely UFL can also find some sort of leverage
