20:26 I really appreciate your honesty about the cardi B dress!! I adore her for the same reasons you do but when I saw the dress I was confused that you liked it. Makes sense now. I really think you're one of the most honest youtubers out there and you always try to incorporate your mistakes if they are helpful in the end.

Tinsel pants: You could try fabric gluing black velvet, black satin, or silver trim around the hem to cover the glue showing through. I think you did an absolutely amazing & inventive job with all of your videos regardless - LOVED them! Your honesty is an attractive attribute to you & your channel. Life & work is a constant learning experience. So glad you shared your thoughts on this with all of us - healthy reminder for 2021!

I love how honest you are. To be quite honest, I love making custom shoes, even if they are costly and time consuming. I’ve made a couple of video game shoes and I never knew what the best materials were to use. So, I don’t think that video was a waste. ❤️ I love this end-of-year video. Thank you for all you do for us!

for the avocado dye, it depends on the minerals in your water to make the colour, my sister has well water with lots of minerals and her avocado dye always turns out to be pink

I loved the tie dye beanies!!! I had planned to make them for Christmas gifts. Matching ones for the couples in my family, adding poms to the women’s. I just couldn’t find all natural fiber beanies in my price range so I didn’t get to do it. But I will make them one day.

@@aprilohmygodwin Ah, you *must* be that person.😂 Frankly, there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing so but it was the method in which you said it. Also, it makes ABSOLUTE sense for her to be photoshopping a little bit of her final pictures as it is the best visual of what she wanted to present. She didn't change up the ENTIRE thing nor did she make major changes without informing the audience. She very kindly did so too, as she always does. "On hindsight, how she could've made things better, altered things, do it a different way, etc." Did you feel cheated? She didn't plagiarize nor was she dishonest. Her videos are meant to be loosely instructional and a fair bit of them are based on your *creativity* and *trial and error* . It is not a science experiment where you have it follow it to the T all the time. Therefore, there are bound to be slight differences.🤷🏻‍♀️

thank you for both this video and being honest about what you learned and felt. i do wish you would do a favorites of all time video every year too. that has stuff from years previous. so one would be a review of the year that passed and one would be a video of the things that have stayed and either stood the test of time, or were so loved that you turned them into something still useful if they no longer are fashionable to keep in their original form from the beginning of your works

This video makes me so happy! I love your honesty. I always wonder when I watch DIYs if people are faking it and bin the items later or if they are in fact useful and something they love. Please keep going, keep making these awesome DIYs, and most important, telling us what works, what you love, and what you don’t. To me, that’s what a true DIYer is. Someone who knows that not everything will work out, and sharing that with others so we all learn together! Also, I peeped your red/pink light there in the corner. Brilliant concept. I think for years I've kind of known what my style language is. And I loved expressing it when I was working. I felt that I was individual and unique with my style. And then I stopped working and my style went to hell. Watching both of your videos reminded me of how much I enjoyed creating my style.
