They really should focus on the companions more, it's such a cool concept, instead of turning JD into a space marine.

I would like it if she would get an extra level between 1-2 where you choose if she remains a villager or not. The civ currently heavily focuses on feudal aggression, would be nice to have an option not to.

Hello and thanks for the video. I have been using your build order for JD in the last days and I am doing ok. The only problem I have is after age up, I start rallying to the wood till I have 12 (such as in your tutorial) and I do not have enough resouces for produce villagers, knights and archers all at the same time. Then my opponent comes and outnumbers me. How could I improve on that? Great video as always and thanks for the content.

You really need to play more Total War to master JD

@BeastyqtSC2 Several top players including you mentioned Zhu Xi as only S tier But how come there are 3 or 4 civ ahead of them in term of winrate at any level then ? Honest question Because at the end of the day, it's not the feeling that matters but the outcome

I feel like they should add a morale loss when losing JD cause as of right now it’s just French with a beefy hero unit that can do aoe, if she dies the players army should receive a morale loss and his army performs worse. It would add a more cautious play rather than just throwing in the hero unit and buying her back in less than a min

I think the 50% damage reduction and 66% later is alittle too much. Also i think her xp gain needs to be adjusted in team games, I know thats not important but something that should be looked at. I wonder if thats also where alot of the players are saying where she is op cause in team games there is so much for the hero to gain xp from that there is almost no way to keep the hero down. For 1v1s though definitely fair saying the civ is pretty well balanced besides I would say for the damage reduction. Should just play like mongols where there is a unit that is a leader and has some support abilities.

If the hero dies, then it's basically French(strong civ pre-expansion) right?... But better than French bc of her you also can build her heros from Keeps. I think her landmarks should be changed to balance. She has so much power(attack, mass heal, $$ cheap ability etc etc).....keep her as is but I think JD shouldn't get Guild Hall and Red Palace. JD with Guild Hall(infinite resource) + Red Palace(Arblast) is too much. She should get new(weaker) age 3 & 4 landmarks.... to make it fair and also to make French more "attractive" to play.

I think french needs a buff and JD might benefit from that as well and I don't think it would make her OP. I don't think she's op now. Strong but not op

The thing JD good at is giving dents a good excuse to invalidate their opponents' victories.

I play JD and thank you for talking sense, nothing more annoying than people calling a civ OP when there are more obvious civs that need a nerf bad, Yes shes strong in certain circumstances but its only if you allow her to become strong, either mass and one shot her (easily done with alot of civs) or FC defend. French is terrible at the moment and JD is just above average, give us a break.

To nerf JD: Should lose xp when units are lost, maybe not at the same rate as the gaining of xp but 20% or so. That way bad engagements will be punished. She becomes a hero by wining battles, not by losing. OR Reset the xp & unused Consc. ability when JD is killed.

So funny seeing plats and diamonds(noobs) complaining about joan of arc hhahahahaha Eat it, low skilled boys. Beasty the man said it. Shes not op. Nowhere near it
