Great content. As a former staff for LV there is no shame to introduce or recommend a replica bag. If i can purchase a replica that even an expert cant differentiate which is real or fake then the replica bag maker had done well. Yes of course this will ruin the branded bag industries but they are already filthy rich

20 years ago I would have been outraged by hawking knock-offs. Wow Michelle, I have to say that’s such a good tip about the glazing, I would of never have known that. I found your comment about the glazing of particular interest, I was recently looking at one of their recent bags on the website and was floored at the sample they had used for the photography, the glazing looked awful! hi great video as always thank you for sharing i had a bad experience back in 2015 with a mon mono speedy i picked out my colors stripes initials paid $1500 back then boom the pipping busted open have not purchased anything since i go pre-loved with the older bags and date codes however that is just me the prices they are asking is psychotic we can take that money put towards a car down payment on a house travel save for our kids future ty for letting me rant lol

I have been a bagaholic for the past few years or so and I buy second hand authentic (cos I would NOT shell out 2k above for a bag, thinking that it is just PVC and a strip of leather irks me) I do love my reps cos if I do the math, if I spend $4000 annually which could only get me roughly two bags ( at best) I could get maybe 10-15 reps. It just makes my little asian heart flutter with a good deal XD

For high quality its no more than a 5% difference. It’s not worth paying thousands for 5% that no one will notice especially since the actual authentic bags have numerous inconsistencies across big brands.

Excellent point. Where I live, most people either can't afford an authentic or don't care. And so what if someone realizes it's fake? Still holds the same stuff! As another RU-vidr said in one of her videos, her only requirements for a bag were "Be cute, be quiet, hold my stuff."

I have authentic purchased fr LV and fake…I have bought fakes fr thrift shops and several of them were just to look them over, just to see what craftsmanship and materials were involved with making them…we’re talking fakes that cost under $10 and we’re obvious fakes. After I’m done with looking them over I either use them, or find another use for them (storing things, etc.). I won’t resell them, however. I have to say, I’m seeing much better fakes now, like closer to the real thing, I have one that is a really great quality copy that I got for very little, and it’s held up very well.

I have authentic LV bags (speedy, neonoe, alma, metis, slgs) however, came to a realisation that some styles are just not worth it like i have been wanting a multi pochette in empreinte but couldnt justify paying AU$4k for this bag so replica option is the way to go 😂 now I have started buying replicas and to be honest Im getting the same happiness from it but way less $$$ 😂I guess having some authentic and some replica make me enjoy using them more.
