Edinburgh airport isn't the most modern, but it is like the perfect size. Not too small where you are bored the entire time and there's no good food. But not big enough that it is really crowded and there is flights constantly being swapped around causing chaos. I was in Mallorca last month, Palma Airport I think it's called. It's insane. In the summer it has 4-5 times the passengers as Edinburgh, but you all get filtered through the same duty free, which isn't much bigger than Edinburgh's. Herded like cattle, honestly.
Hi Eddie glad you enjoyed the fringe...last time I was at the Airport I had a great bit of food in the restautant...eggs benedict and it was pure dead brilliant🤣🤣
Good review. You were fortunate to travel on a quiet day. When its busy, the place is manic. The area for the check-in desks is far too small and gets crowded quickly. The bars and restaurants after security are full and it's difficult to get a seat. Recommend getting fast-track security.
If ye like a wee swally before you fly the Aspire is very good value in comparison to the airport bars. Decent beer unlimited and food is fine too. You could easily spend £45 in 2 hours outside of the Aspire on food and drink. Great wee cludgie for a fly wee vape na aw.
We went through security there on Monday at about 4am and it was carnage! Like herding cattle getting people queued up to scan the passport before entering security
