My HONEST Salary Negotiation Experience 🤑 after switching from Amazon | Anshika Gupta 

One of my Friends Did this He got an Offer from Microsoft for 51LPA The Base they offered was 16.5 lakhs But he had a counter offer from Amazon So he negotiated using amazons offer and got a Base of 18lpa And amazon matched that offer And then microsoft gave the final offer 19 lpa base So since he was already living in Hyderabad he asked the HR to Use the relocation and add it to the base and one week later HR calls and gives and offer 20.5 Base And The Sticks and bonus u all know He joined happily But sad that after he joined 3 days kater amazon calls and Offers 20lpa base final offer 😂 he was from a tier 2 college And aced all interviews

Interview schedule krne se pehle HR ne mujhese mera ctc pucha to mene bol diya mujhe in-hand pta h itna aur ctc lagbhag itna hoga to usne pucha aapka expected ctc aur mujhe jo in-hand chahiye tha mene wo ctc me bol diya.. ab me use aise convince kr skta hu salary negotiation round me k me chandigarh se banglore jaunga training k liye fr waha se gurgaon jaunga to meri living cost hi 40% badh jayegi meri travelling cost badh jayegi.. jo hassle free life me yaha jeeta hu green city me wo waha nai hoga, plus me yaha promote hone wala hu to mujhe wo b benefit h to kya me ye points rkh skta hu HR k saamne?

19:40 relates to current condition Mere layoff ke bad ek doosri company me lagi job, aur sab badhiya hai lekin package bilkul nhi badha. Only reason being ki koi research nhi thi meri ki kya hai market standards aur lay off ke bad job khojte khojte confidence bhi down ho gya. Is job me seekhne ko bahot kuchh hai, salary km hai but confidence aa rha hai ab, hence I am here now, better late than never 😅

Anshika: As someone who has been in software industry for nearly 4 decades (and close to retirement now) - One thing I liked about your approach - You first selected a company for the value - and negotiated a salary that fits the company budget. I have seen way too many candidates act like mercenaries, selling themselves to highest bidders. It has been my practice not to hire such candidates, beacuse they will never be happy with the company. Hope you always retain this attitude of finding companies/products that you want to work for - NOT SALARIES YOU WANT TO WORK FOR. 👍

Didi I am unable to manage college studies and coding. Aur mein confuse hote rahata hoon ki konse language pe DSA sheekhu like 1st year C programming tha so thought to learn in that now i have java subject so I thought to learn in that but log bolte hai c++ karlo. I am stuck in middle of the sea I feel like writing jee exam again soo many resources a big portion, time management, competition of students for getting marks in college..........etc makes me stressed up kindly guide me didi.
