I’m a 35 year old mom and I love watching your vids… that’s why I have loved watching your sister-n-laws vlogs too. They are real and down to earth and not this crazy made up videos. It’s moms being moms😁 I miss your vids and would love to see you back uploading!

As a stay at home mom myself, I’ve always truly appreciated your real day to day normal mom life content! If you decide to Vlog on the larger channel that may benefit you and I’m sure most of us will follow on there as well! I hope you find clarity in whatever decision you make and I do hope you keep making content! 💖

To be honest I always wondered why you didn't post on Logan's channel. I think most of us found you through watching Logan.. So it's not like you're just taking a random account. He still going to be there on the account with you and your family so I think it makes complete sense. You could also use Logan’s as the family channel and use this one as your own personal channel where you could talk about your personal interests lifestyle kind of influencer type videos.

I’ve been subscribed to both you and Logan since your channels began and would watch you either way. I love watching family channels and I know they’ve been getting a bad rap with recent things in the news lately. The only time I do have a problem is when it’s obvious that parents are telling kids what to do and say (somewhat scripted). Just let your kids be kids like you always do. I’m also so sorry to hear about your grandpa. Grandparents are special people. I’ve always said we learn the most about life from our grandparents.

I prefer the everyday home life vlogs. I always find myself fast forwarding through the family vacation ect

Weird your video just popped up on my feed and I thought I’d give it a shot and girl I love how genuine you are. A lot of people in my country (Germany) are extremely cautious about showing their kids on the internet like instagram. I have a private account and cleared my Follower so I can post pictures of my son and all of our adventures. It’s memories. And tbh if I was married in a family where vlogging was a thing I would vlog and show my kids too. It depends on WHAT you show. And I think you’re doing a great job with it! You have a new subscriber here!

Simple editing is fine as it keeps videos natural. In my opinion, the consistency of family vlogging brings comfort for returning viewers / subscribers its a totally different audience to the mega famous click baiters. Totally get your concerns about the kids but i think they will appreciate it when they are older since their cousins etc also are from family vlogging homes. Try not to worry and take care 💕

Y’all are the only vlog account I keep up with now, feels like watching extended family after all these years lol personally I’ll watch any video you upload. Morgan I like watching your videos, You keep it very natural and very real, And it's enjoyable. I like the natural day to day life that you post, With family gatherings here and there. Have missed your videos for quite some time. I'm glad to see you back. If I can give you any kind of suggestion Maybe do 1 video a week from now. And just edit six or seven days together and post On whatever day is good for you.. I've seen quite a few family vloggers do that.

I LITERALLY just commented how wholesome your video was a moment ago before checking out this one (that was my first video watching of yours) and I am so glad I clicked to view more because I needed this one. This is me with vlogging. I get so conflicted on what to do. I see real life families who do content similarly to yours and mine and they have 300k plus and people support them but it took some years to get there and some families who just started being consistent and utilizing shorts to leverage their channels. Those families with the elaborate videos that have clickbait thumbnails (no shade or judgement) but it’s quicker turnaround as far as views, subscribers and sponsors but it’s harder to obtain at least in my opinion. I would much rather show up as myself and share my everyday life than to do something that goes against my values. (A harmless prank from time to time is okay in my book) and not knocking them because they have to show up even when they may not want to because it’s their income and I don’t want to feel forced to show up, I want to show up at a steady pace, that works for me and my family, and not daily or multiple times a day. It’s hard uploading 3X’s a week or even weekly, so I feel for those families because once you do those type of videos that’s all your audience will want is entertainment and not the REAL you! Also, I hate the narrative of mom vloggers from some of these outsiders who make content based upon “tea” firstly, mom’s are stripped of their identity once they become one. A lot of things are left unsaid about motherhood and sometimes you just need a community of mom’s who get it to help you on your bad days. That’s what Instagram and RU-vid have been for me. They love to say it’s “exploiting” your children but if done correctly, I don’t think so at all. Definitely have to be careful and cautious and I think a lot of parents are. Example: We put our son into modeling/ acting (for confidence/ resume builder) he had his first PAID gig recently and we immediately opened him an account that holds all of his money because it’s for his future. We make it fun, we only do jobs when he says yes and we space them out because we want him to have opportunities and choices but also a regular life and he loves doing all of it! I feel like the pace you are going shows just how genuine you are and how this isn’t all about money for you but as you stated at some point you want it to generate revenue and to help out if the opportunity is there and it is, so why not help contribute to your family’s household while being able to take care of your kids and take some of that weight off your hubby’s shoulders and mind. Just because our husband’s carry it well, get it done and make it happen…. doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy, stressful and tiring all while helping us with the kids when they’re home. What I think people don’t understand is that RU-vid is WORK! It is a real job and it takes time, energy and investing just like any other job. When you said you didn’t vlog Mexico I was happy and sad for you at the same time because I get it. It feels good to be in the moment, yet that core memory and it makes for great content feels like a missed opportunity, but nonetheless I’m glad you enjoyed your time and the moment. It’s hard being a content creator because you have to figure that balance of when you want to pickup the camera and when you want to just relish in the moment! The camera thing. Omgggg, it’s me. My little vlog camera has seen better days and I also use a DSLR. Love my DSLR but I understand more why we had a specific on the go camera because it’s a hassle to tote around. You need a handheld tripod, camera bag and the works just to have it and that’s a lot to take around. It’s a wonderful camera for sit downs and photos. I have the 24mm by Canon (super small and compact that I put on when I need lightweight equipment for vlogging) and it makes the camera seem more vlog style! When I said I needed this, I truly meant I needed this. Thank you for sharing. I have been trying to be more consistent and this just ensured that I will continue going. So, thank you so much for that!!! ❤❤❤❤ Also, with your husband’s other channel, I would say keep this one too. Idk if you know who Jamie Perkins is but he explained recently that his content isn’t doing as well because people subscribed for family content and now that he can’t share his kids as much anymore due to their split, his views have tanked and that affects his sponsors which means he doesn’t get paid enough anymore. So, depending on who his audience was tailored to, I would say try it out and see how it does because you may have to rebuild a whole new audience despite have over 300k on that channel which would be more work than just staying here with people who already support what you do and appreciate what you already put out and the other channel might just put you in your own head thinking why aren’t we reaching more people with more subscribers. Sorry this is so long, I genuinely talk to my husband about this DAILY and I hold myself back thinking am I “exploiting” “ is my editing too basic” and so many other thoughts. Let’s get out of our heads mama and just do it from the heart with a plan and strategy and it will all fall right as it should! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I love you being real. However, I agree putting your children/family out there puts a risk on you family for a ton of different reasons unfortunately. To be honest I would rather watch videos you make(fashion, fitness, food, organizing, mom tips etc) than family context.

As a subscriber to both channels, Just start posting on Logan's channel and of it takes, run with it! Start with an update from his last upload and then a q&a and worry about the name change stuff later! The viewers over there will be so excited to see you back over there!

Yes, you have been missed so much! I understand when you take breaks and it is more than ok. When you do come back, it is very exciting and makes my day! I am a 54 year old who grew up with not a lot of the safety concerns of today. I survived and so did all of my friends. Family vlogging isn’t the same without the kids. I know a couple of large family vloggers who stopped showing their kids faces and by not talking about each child individually, like what they like to eat or play with, showing the cute and funny moments and showing the kids interacting with parents and siblings; without all of that previous content, they are struggling to put up even the minimum of their expected vlogs on a regular basis. I see their viewer count drop and their subscriber count is dwindling. It is hard to stay interested if a vlogger who committed to a specific number of scheduled videos stops suddenly and comes back with no explanation or they become less active and sporadic on the schedule. It also is very disconcerting to a subscriber who has been watching for a long time, all of a sudden be hit with the kids being covered up or blurred out. It is like the channels who belittled them for showing their kids, like The Dad’s Podcast, won by bullying them and we lost out for being trustworthy and loyal subscribers. I know of a family channel that shows their adopted daughter’s face and she loves showing the camera her very adorable personality. I mention them because they just had a video sponsored by a Google product for kids. What a win! You can use both channels and be creative with each. That family I spoke about with the open adoption story, they have two channels and the mom edits and posts to both channels. The dad, I think, gave up on it for posting videos showing what he does for a living. Now they use both for family content but different footage and sometimes different family topics, like sit down talk sessions about the adoption or how the handle tough kid situations. Not a podcast at all, just more mature content and less showings of their child. Gosh this is long. Maybe post a couple vlogs on Logan’s channel and see what the reception to it is. I feel like most people probably liked his high school/college vlogs and forgot they are even subscribed to him at this point. So they might not enjoy the family videos now BUT they also might be grown now too and enjoy it!

I enjoy watching your videos! However, I personally don't show my kids online due to it feeling like a violation of their privacy, not necessarily out of fear. So if you were to change showing them, I would still watch. I'm honestly more interested in connecting with other moms, however the connection comes. Also like what you mentioned, there are ways people can show their kids in ways that shouldn't cause any harm. I understand the trying to figure it all out. Life is crazy! Especially little kids. I have 2 under 4 and third on the way, I couldn't even imagine finding the time/energy for vlogging. Kudos to you! Thank you either way if you decide to keep going or not. Wishing you guys the best!

I don’t mind the sponsored videos for content creators who are real like you. I gladly support you because just off of your videos I feel how genuine you are and I never got that you wanted to exploit your children on here. You have always shown in past videos and know what to respectfully share online about your family and I have always seen that. As for the other channel, maybe post a vlog like style/update video on there and see how it does? And maybe use this one more for you and/or motherhood side of things that you want to share? A lot of these things come from trial and error and what you want to share and do. I hope this feedback helps some. It’s great seeing your face and realness again! Everything you said is perfectly understandable and relatable. I also stopped vlogging on one of my other channels because life got way too busy for me after having my 2 kiddos. Which is why I love your realness with your family vlogs. It helps me realized how normal raising a family is in this day and age. I know this is a hot topic these days. I've loved watching your channel, but it doesn't sound like your hearts fully into it and that is what you need to pull you through those hard/busy times with consistency for more views, if that is what you are aiming for. You can always capture those moments/memories of your kids to watch back later without showing them online, to people you don't even know. To me, my kids privacy/protection would be priceless and I'd protect that at all costs because they can't make that decision for themselves when they are that young. At least you would have some control over it, rather than none, putting them out for everyone to see how vulnerable they are. Times have changed, it's 2023 and criminals are lurking everywhere no matter where you are, on or offline so, if I could have any control at all, I would at least choose to control part of the stranger danger issue. Much respect whichever you decide on. At least you're giving it some thought with your kids interest involved, unlike others. Do what is best for your family.

Morgan, you seem really excited to start vlogging again so I think you should go for it. It is a good idea to use Logan's channel. It is understandable to be' concerned of potential risks. I suppose if you focus on your life with your content and although your kids appear you can ensure they are nevet the main focus. Also being very careful to film in avance and never outside your home etc. Good luck

I would definitely recommend going to the other channel and you may lose some subs from there but you’ll still have a lot and probably reach more people too! RU-vid loves bigger accounts! Also maybe if you have those worries you can maybe focus more on your day or cleaning things or not as much the kids and just don’t show them as often until they are like 5ish and can say if they want to be on or not. Your intentions are good and so I don’t think your kids would look back and be mad at you or anything and if it’s done in a good way it’s a great path for future work! Examples: the Butlers off of “shaytards”. Many of your family has had a social media platform paved and that is such a blessing! I think just use it how you want and don’t stress it! :) I think making these videos or asking people is also a great way to see what the people want to see and can help you make choices :)

When the RU-vidrs Im subscribed to don’t post often I just don’t see their content. But if they post a few videos a week I’m more likely to watch because I see more of their content on my Home section. Just a thought. Btw I prefer family vlogging that’s all I watch these days. Was thinking about you guys and came to check in. I’ve always wondered why you didn’t use Logan’s channel for the vlogs. You absolutely should. It can take YEARS to get the exposure that his channel already has. Make the move, it makes sense. That said, I’m very much against child exploitation on the internet. I feel like as long as you don’t use your children as the focal point of your videos and they aren’t forced to “work” and their rights to privacy are being protected (ie don’t give out their medical details, personal information, etc) then you are doing it right. It would also be a good faith effort to put a small portion of the proceeds of videos they are in to a fund that they can access at 18 years old. Those are my thoughts, take them or leave them obviously. I really do think you try your best to weigh out and balance your childrens safety and best interest. You are not one of these parents simply earning money off the backs of their children. You don’t throw your children in front of the camera and ask or expect them to perform. I think you are very much getting it right here. I say go for it. Do what you do and keep being the great mom you are. Do it on Logan’s channel and profit while making memories the right way. I think the safety of your children is the most important. Take your children off the internet. They don’t belong on the internet. Kids cannot consent!

I think it’s one thing if you’re exploiting your children for views and making up activities and things to do to have FUN etc. That, I think is what bothers a lot of people. I think also what bothers people is the income made by using your children. There are so many guidelines in Hollywood for protecting children’s time and value. However with that said, I don’t think that’s what the channel is. I started watching the butlers when Gavin turned 5 years old and over the years and years I’ve navigated from one channel to the other, watching the Shaytards, CarlyStylz and then you guys. Really, I just like keeping up with what’s going on in another normal family with kids. I am an American who lives in Finland so it’s nice to see what my people are up to. I’m 34 and I enjoy seeing all the little day to day activities you get up to, even the boring stuff. I think if you want, go to Logan’s channel and start vlogging there. If you don’t like the vibe, just come back here. No big deal. Open accounts for your children and just give them a cut of every paycheck you get. Cover your bases. Be smart. Don’t share any personal information or show your front of your house.

Trying to show people your the perfect family but off the camera it's nor like this. I really can't believe people watch these videos with boring moms with little rug rats. I don't watch them I just see it on my apps when I go on my you tube.
