I grabbed my hair comb and did this test. My hair immediately snapped !!! I tried a new conditioner and my hair didn't like it. I grabbed my old reliable Kera care moisturizer, jojoba oil and grapeseed oil. Now my hair is moisturized and happy. Thank you for your awesome tips
Wow, I never knew about the protein/moisture test! I was wondering why my hair snapped like an elastic band. I struggle with oily scalp/seb derm and a lot of the shampoo treatment dries out my mids and ends, but too much buttery/oily products blow up the seb derm (it's on my face too so even if my hair touches my face it starts). I've been looking for good strategies and I can't wait to try these along w your rosemary rinse recipe!
I also have fine hair and it was the main reason I started watching your videos, since your tips help me a lot!! I did the test and the hair snapped right away 😮 I love taking care of my hair but it’s so fragile… I’ll try your serum technique! Thank you so much, Doro! ❤
Hey love 🥰 oh then it means you need more moisture and by just adding it your thin fine hair won’t be that fragile because moisture adds flexibility to the hair 😊💗 hugs
Hy Doro ! I was really suffering with my dry hair lately i even cut my waist lenght hair to shoulder lenght because of dryness and i hope it grows out fast again 😢 i found your video and I felt so happy that you made a video about dry hair 🥰 i was wondering if you could make a video tips too to hair growth for people with dry or light colored hair 😅 as my hair is light brown and when i started using rosemary water for hair growth it made it even dryer and i'm afraid it becomes darker.. sorry for my long comment I really love your videos and wish you all the happiness in your life as you make me happy with your videos 💖💕
Hi love 💗 I’m sure your hair will bloom beautiful pretty soon 😘 just have patience and it will happen. Also if rosemary is making your hair dry and you already have dry hair I’ll suggest you to use the oil which your hair will benefit more 😊 however I’ll keep in mind your suggestion 💗 love you
For hard water build up chelating shampoo is recommended not all clarifying shampoos are chelating. Chelating agents bind to and remove minerals from the hair shaft. The only way your clarifying shampoo can do this is if it shows chelator or chelating agents in the ingredients list. Apple cider vinegar rinses after shampooing and conditioning also helps mineral build up.
I finally found a routine that gives me super soft hair. Never heard of the "squish", as I usually just comb it through and put a shower cap on until the end. Will try it next time and hopefully see if there is going to be a difference.
For conditioner part, i would suggest dividing your hair into 3 sections and then putting the conditioner section wise. After that take all the hair and again put small amount of conditioner and then we can do all those techniques she said👍. This is may way, it may be different for someone else.
wowww this was such a fun and informative video! I never knew ab the hair strand test. and the tip where you said to use a conditioner and serum before wrapping the hair is so interesting! I'll def make sure to try all these out now🥰 thank you for making this video🩷 stay safe, love youu. hugs
Hi beautiful ❤️ yay im so happy you liked these tips 😊 uff the one with the towel is so great like game changer for hair 😘 and please let me know how it goes ✨ stay safe too, love you tons ❤️
I keep following these tips but unfortunately London has the hardest water on the planet. I swear. With a quarter size of shampoo you would not see any lather at all, my hair feels dry even when it's soaked wet and gets tangled as soon as I put my head under the shower making it very difficult to get my fingers through my scalp to clean it properly. By the looks of it, your hair looks smooth under the water and lathers nicely which means your area is less hard water than mine for sure. I still love your videos and will continue applying these tricks. Un saludo de una española viviendo en UK!
Hola hermosa 💗 that sounds really hard to maintain hair healthy but what about installing a soft water system? Also if that amount of shampoo don’t work then you should do what works for you 🙏🏾 I only give suggestions 💗 another thing very important is to wash with clarifying shampoo to remove buildup 😊 hugs
Can you do a video on dry skin tips?-on face, lips and body. Also tips on how to deal with hyperpigmentation and dryness on common areas like elbows, shoulder blades, booty? Would appreciate the tips and product reccommendations sis😁😁😁🤗🤗❤️❤️ loovveee thhe video as always
It helps me alot, i was suffering from Frizzy hair, and when school year done i want to give it some Treatment i want it to be healthy, it became shiny and it's not too Frizzy as before :D
I want to add 2 more tips for those who have extra dry hair, first tips is using 1 or 2 drop of your fav hair oil or hair serum before u use the micro fiber towel (before shower), next tips is using silk pillow case cus hair rubing when we sleep create tangle and frizz means open cuticle leads to dehedrated hair, hope my tips help :)
@@DoroCubillo I have thin, wavy, very dry hair but also very vaporous, giving the impression that I have more hair than I actually do. My own tip is that every morning and every evening, I brush (head down) my hair with a boar bristle hairbrush. Then I use a... what is it called in english? a mister? with mineral water. Then I use a bio leave-in treatment (a Coslys spray or a Urtekram spray). Then I put oil (sometimes argan oil, or jojoba oil) to seal the hydration. Then I brush lightly with a horn comb. Every morning, every evening. It's become a ritual, it doesn't take a long time, too. Also, I massage my scalp every evening, for about 3, 4 minutes. Much to my surprise, I can last a month without washing my hair. And my hair is soft. And I confirm about using a clean water... thing, I'm sorry, I don't remember the english word, but it's much better for the hair and the skin so invest in one, girls. You won't regret it.
So, your "dry brittle hair" moment would be beyond glorious for me. Straight hair that is full is ridiculously EASY compared to wiry, curly fine hair that WON'T GROW.
Can you share list of natural/home remedies which you incorporate & still follows in your routine (which you have tried &tested in your earlier videos)?

Hii doro How are you? Sorry for being late here🥹 Thanks for this video doro. It is so informative. I've dry ends but extremely oily scalp😢 Will definitely try these tips for my dry ends❤
Hi beautiful ❤️ Im good and you? aw you are not late 😘 oh dry ends and oily scalp could definitely can be sign of hard water 🥺 I hope these tips help you out love 😘 hugs
I can help. If you've suffered long term with oily skin /face, I know the struggle. Research insulin and androgens and their connection to oily skin. Life changing
I tried the snap test and it broke straight away, I shaved my head 3 years ago and I have been trying to grow it out super long and healthy, I've tried almost everything but I don't know what I'm doing wrong?I have medium to thick hair, and I get breakage really easy, I want to grow super long hair and I follow all of your tips, also whenever I put any type of oil in my hair I always come out with some parts still having oil on them, any tips about that? I've been thinking of trying bonding oil and leave in conditioner but I don't know the best brands, I try to buy everything organic and sulfate free, cruelty free, etc. Any recommendations for good leave in conditioners, and bonding serum or oil?
Hey sissy. Love you so much. I love your videos and your tips. But i have a problem. Recently i have started working out. During work out my hair gets super sweaty which is normal. then i take shower to clean my hair. But maybe it's not good to wash hair every day. What can i do ?
Hey love 💗 I will suggest you to clean your hair every two or three days if you work out daily and don’t forget to do the pre oiling mask to reduce dryness 😊
A hair dresserused a hair fanndirectly on the hair like no space in-between the heet and hair many times:( my hair used to be healthy but today it feels so dry (was at the salon yesterday (and never will I go to a salon ever again)). Do you or anyone have any tip on how to help already damaged hair dry hair, how much actual damage can it have caused? Could it be that my hair is temporarily dry but with time and right care it will son be better again?🥺😔
Hi Doro, many thanks for the video. I have got an oily hair, however nowadays my hair ends are super dry, so are these tips still applicable for my hair type?
I'd also like to add that if you are a long term sufferer of chronic oily skin, face/scalp educate yourself on insulin and androgen production. This information is life changing.
I did the test and my hair just broke immediately but the hair ends became coily and gummy i am so scared my hair are ruined 😭 i am noticing my hair becoming coily and gummy is it protein deficient ?😭😭
Hi Doro! I've been using oil (jojoba and argan) before shampooing and then i massage the mask into my hair. Also, like two months ago I started using olaplex nr 3 and 6. My hair looks and feels so healthy but on the second day it feels dry and i have a lot of breakage. What should I do until the next wash?
Hi love ❤️ do the strand test and to make sure you are not loading your hair with protein overload also remember to use those protein treatments with discretion ❤️
@@DoroCubillo thank you for your answer ❤️ i think i have protein overload. My hair is stiff and very very dry. I did the strand test, it snapped, did not strech, not even a little bit. Never heard of protein overload before. I will be more careful with these products. Appreciate your help and the effort you put into the videos. ❤️
