If you caulk around the ceiling where the crown molding meets the ceiling it will hide the weird space there and make it look nice and finished

Great job Barb...Praying the mold situation is handled...We had mold on our walls in our basement after it flooded down there...I scrubbed everything down with hydrogen peroxide then we also repainted with mold & mildew primer followed up with mold resistant paint..It has been over several years and no mold issues...You all will be fine

I cannot wait to see your finished floor project. My husband and I laid the same kind of floors about 2 years ago and it wasn't super easy, but it wasn't all that hard either, just figure out your pattern and go for it!
