lets not get this completely wrong, the aerodynamics did help to some degree with fuel economy, however, the 8 bag suspension it had did make it heavier than I wanted. my biggest gripe really is that to much is made of fiberglass and composite materials instead of metal rivetted or bolted or welded together, if you pay attention I personally like the older trucks due to the simpler nature of them aswell as certain build quality items. However, this is the only truck I have ever owned and operated that I can say that "in my opinion, was a bad purchase". now, that being said, since most of the parts under the cosmetics are fairly common, I did make it my mission to repurpose as many parts at possible, the transmission went into another unit, the motor went into another unit, the frame and axles were sold off to an acquaintance of mine to help with one of his projects. so its not all a regret, but it was a mental strain every time I needed to get cab or body specific parts.
