Oh my sister! Back when, my hubby had to sell his 1965 Ford step side, short bed pickup. It was his treasure! But we needed to pay bills and buy groceries. We had two little ones to feed. Fast forward 40 years, God blessed him with a 1962 Ford Econoline pickup. To some this may seem extravagant, but my husband has been faithful to God and his family. I believe the Lord honors that🙏

Tessie , thank you for telling us your story. Glad everything worked out for ya'll. We had a situation like that back in 2009, when my spouse sold his truck, just so we can pay our bills. This is when the Recession took place. Finally a year ago, he was able to buy himself a new truck. You are right we are all the same, go through crisis and we all work it out.

@@kesmarn I don't know what to believe Ken but I had it for a while it was over 100 years old I had wanted it forever and never found one but when my mom messed up the bank we needed things fixed and i loaned her the money I'll get it back in January and buy a higher end competition minded full size 9mm to have as a spare to one I carry daily so it works out

My husband and I have had similar things and health things that you two have had. It's very rare, around here at least, to find someone in this situation. Everyone around and that I know have great health and doesn't understand these types of situations. While I'm not happy this happened to you, I'm thankful to find someone who can relate. Tessie, you are an inspiration to me. I look forward to your videos & words of wisdom. My husband and I have been doing home improvements each year & saving up for the next project in the coming year. Last year was vinyl siding, gutters and a new garage door. This year was a bathroom remodel.

I understand bare bones budgeting. Sickness and injury come, we too have experienced it. The bills keep coming, so sacrifices are made...makes me Thankful for what we do have. We had expensive repairs this year, to the vehicle my husband makes our living with...he was sick all year last year...3 surgeries. Thank God he's healthy now. I'm now preparing for surgery for a shoulder injury, but it's going to be alright....thankful nothing going on is life threatening. Any material thing can be replaced...life of course can not. I'm happy for you and your husband that you were able to get you all a safe vehicle. Sacrifice...yes...we all have to make them...makes me even more thankful for what God has provided...for He is Good All the time. God Bless you and your family Tessie.
