This was fun! I definitely agree: I love the red lips... on their own. I loooooove the eye look SO DARN MUCH, but the nude glossy lip makes for a much better pairing. The smoky blackened teal eyes with the red lip was... um, a lot of look. 😆

I like that although your previous impression of bold eye + red lip was “a lot,” you didn’t go the easy route by choosing the more “neutral” looking eyeshadows from the melt palette. You embraced the challenge!

I think Tim picked the red because he likes that look on you. He did a pretty good job, and personally would love to see him doing the application…without any coaxing. I bet he would do well…you’ve noted that he sometimes wears eyeliner, so I suspect he would have a sense of what to do for your face. Fun!

Your face when you were applying the lip liner right after you said "I don't want to do this!" was a whole mood.😂 You can pretty much pull off everything, but I do think the nude lip was less distracting from the eye look. I love how you are never afraid to use your entire eye space all the way up to the brow. I need to try to use my space more.

On clients, I tend to do foundation after part of the eye makeup. I will finish eyes after foundation, concealer, and powder. On myself, I do foundation first, especially if I think I won’t have time to finish my makeup or do a full face. At least I can keep it simple at that point. Most of the time I don’t have time to do a full face, and that is mostly due to an impatient client. This was a fun video to watch. I can just imagine the thoughts that were running through your mind of how to go about this look. Final look was beautiful!

I do not think he was trolling you I generally think he was picking stuff he thought looked cool he just wasnt thinking of them all together... overall I love the red lips and overall they eye look turned out stunning... they just aint buddies together... I think we should do this once in awhile its honestly fun to watch ❤

For your kosas bronzer, maybe try the packing tape trick? I noticed mine got hard panned-it’s just really sensitive to the face and product oils brushes picks up over time I think. Anyway, I took some packing tape and put it over the top of the powder and it helped remove the top hard pan layer and made the powder accessible again. 😊 Maybe it’ll help you too? Also, no I don’t think he was trolling. 🙂

Would be fun if you did this with a number generator, too. Assign a number to each item in each category (or most) then have the generator pick a number for each category, then use whatever it picks.
