This is absolutely mesmerizing. The floor selector on every floor is incredible. Years ago I made a bubble elevator with a level selector on each floor, and it was only 9 floors and really bulky. 93 floors, compact, AND a smooth elevator is absolutely jaw-dropping. Brilliant job!
When I published the first elevator that could handle an unlimited number of requests at the same time a couple years ago it was one of the best ones out there. It was nowhere near as compact or as fast as this one, but it was something special and became the go-to design among the German redstone community for quite a while. This one tops it in every way and Im increadibly impressed how advanced elevator technologie has become. May this design become the new standart!
I built your elevator, almost the first multifloor elevator, and I don't know how to thank you *I had to put a minecart in the cabin so that it wouldn't fall through the cabin to the ground thanks again for the tutorial.❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@tomcoextraa Great job working this out then, it must have been so hard without any references! I wonder if you could use hex encode the floors? Or somehow make each floor automatically add 1 from the previous floor so you don't need all that data?
Small question can you make it use a note block selector panel i know that it would be limited because you cant fit an infinite amount of note blocks inside the elevator or just keep the current floor panel or maybe make a diffrenet version that has note block pannel that is inside the elevator
Im just thinking if someone actually had this for a building what would they put on each floor like for example if you were to build a hotel around it you probably would be better off building the floors in sections so one section could be lobbys and pools or whatever the middle floors would use world edit to copy and paste it and then save the top floor as the penthouse or whatever
That is the smoothsst with out mods, is each floor a section and can you cut it in halfway up, does it still work with out goin all the way to the top?
I have a suggestion, when you order the elevator to come to you, there should be two buttons, one to let the elevator know that you are going down, so it picks you up while it's going down, and the other button does otherwise
It pretty much already does this for when it’s going up, but the way the redstone works means that would be very hard to do it for down aswell. I can try if I every make a v2, but I don’t wanna add too much more complexity since it’s already huge lol
If you remove the floor chooser lecterns, and just have the elevator go from top to bottom does that cut down on any significant amount of redstone, And can you include that in the world download if so. Also incredible build👍
the mechanics are similar to the JLeveator, but that was restricted to a 1x2 to make it 2x2 like this is a whole other level lel, im making a full explantation video but i dont wanna reveal how it works until thats out sorry
Awesome hyper realistic elevator, you're so fast making it that i'm still making it go up and down and haven't even made stopper Edit: Sorry if you saw i'm spamming that's because i couldn't see comments i sent after minutes
@@tomcoextraa I don’t blame you. Making a tutorial on a complex build involves planning, time, knowledge on everything your building, and experience building it as to not give wrong directions. But dam. 93 floors. Did u copy and paste using structure blocks or just done everything by hand?
@@wvking all floors are like 98% identical, but I had to do 2% manually, it took a long time tho designing that it would work when stacked every 4 blocks
This is really cool! But to make the elevator feel even more realistic, instead of using honeyblocks to lift the top parts, you can actually use trap doors as a partial block to push blocks above it. For example, you can just place 4 trap doors on the wall behind you and it will push the ceiling
You can use it on multiplayer as long as you have good ping, but when I tried it on servers that are really far away you will just glitch out a few times
A random small youtuber just pops out with the most incredible elevator ever made in the game? Mhh I doubt this is real... I'll believe it when I see this with my own eyes. Tutorial?
@@tomcoextraaso doing the maths, assuming you meant an hour per floor, that means it would take about 93 or more hours to build this entire thing, or nearly 4 days to build the whole thing if you were to build it without taking any breaks.
@@BlueKirby808 yes, but i only had to build 20 floors and then i just copy and pasted and then made tweaks since each layer is ever so slightly different
