Thank you for sharing your story. I'm having a laparoscopic hysterectomy in March. Not looking forward to it. I've been so scared of the post-op pain. Your story, and a few others, make me feel like I can do this.
I really appreciate you being so candid about your experience. I needed this info very much. No matter what the doctor says hearing a personal experience means so much more. Thank you and I'm so happy you're better!!
So happy that you are on the mend. It takes time for the body to heal but you must be patient. Next, listen to the doctor’s instructions and most importantly treat yourself to something special. That is what I do and it makes me feel even better. Lol
Mines Jan 27 for pre cancer. I do have a question did they take out your Catheter before you woke up from surgery? I asked my surgeon to take it out before I wake up lol he said he doesn’t. And they are keeping me a day ;/ it’s the lap robot one
When I woke up I still had the catheter. It made me feel like I had to pee and the nurse told me that feeling was because of the catheter. For me, when they removed it, it was not very painful. It’s so quick when they remove it. I felt a small stinging sensation but it was quite tolerable. I hope everything goes well for you.
