@@XZaguer i respect you all but the pachy nurf wasn’t that bad pachy can still 2v1 ceras and carnos. It’s a low tier that should be in groups to defend itself. If a pachy leg breaks anything it can just run away and getting leg breaks on carnos is super easy. Pachy has always been a one man army that that could solo things 4 times bigger than it. The nerd made it balanced if anyone got nurfed too much is carno he is still good but not what he should be. Carno is supposed to depend on its speed and now it can’t thx to its acceleration.
Orni, Honestly I love your videos, you are one of the only creators that voice opinions and speculations for upcoming creatures in the isle's Envrima. That being said I do think there is something off putting about some of your comments/behavior in regards to backlash of opinion from your viewers. That being said this video vs the previous kentro video has shown your growth in both quality and in "your fear of backlash". Happy to say you are top notch, Hope you keep going man :)
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx To clarify, this would be in context of your last kentro video from timestamp 6:08 to 6:30. the wording "I can hear you all crying" and "Relax" comes off the wrong way. Like I stated above I do believe that you have gotten better in your wording and confidence as a creator, but I wanted to let you know as per proper critique. Preemptively assuming backlash/criticism is what I was referring to in my prior comment. In some cases that line of reasoning is a good way to cope with haters I.E "They cannot hurt me if I steal there words", but more often that not it comes off as a know it all statement and I personally believe that paints you in a poor light.
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx But honestly man, this is only 1 critique. I love your content and will be watching from here on out. I just wanna see you grow to where you should (1 mill lol)

@@SirKolass I think most people play legacy because of the social aspect and better performance all they really need to do is add sandbox and improve performance and we're set
Even as a Herrera fan I kinda hope they give the impale feature they displayed on trike a while back to badly placed pounces against kentro. Watching a poorly placed ambush from a Utah, troodon, Herrera, etc. against a kentro go south fast could be pretty entertaining to see
My thoughts on Kentro: Impaling: Dino's up to the size of utah should be impaled on its spikes, though the corpse wouldnt stay stuck like it does on stego, or if it did stay on the spikes it would do some major speed reduction. Herd size: I think four is a good number, much more and they would be essentially invincible to small and mid tiers. Locomotion: we have fossil trackways of kentro showing it could run bipedally, this would allow it to run away from apexes and psedo-apexes (like sucho), if they give it such an ability.
I love how you actually implement mechanics and roles these dinosaurs will play or could play out. It makes me happy to hear how much you really care for this even though lots of the player base has stopped for quite some time now, including me. I hope they pull their heads out of their asses and actually listen to the communities.
@@Orni-Mega-LonyxYou are very much welcomed and please keep up the content I enjoy seeing your thoughts! I just reviewed their latest announcement and it seems they have listened to the player base and I’m so happy 😂
In terms of balance for the current roster, I would put it like that Hipsy - bigger radius for it's spit, to be kinda like a shotgun and give it climbing, other than that, nothing else really Troodon - improvement on the venom as a whole and overall that's it, nothing else Beipi - he's fine in my opinion, not to strong, not to weak Dryo - as fast as omni, bigger stam and burrowing obviously Ptera - easier turning Pachy - stun through fracture only Omni - fixing on the pounce Galli - he's fine Cera - well altho I did make a "how to fix Cera a while ago" I guess just get rid of vomit lock and nerf the stam should do, let's see how that plays out Teno - he's fine Carno - faster acceleration, turning easier while running, harder while charged and I'll argue to get rid of the Alt bite for carno and replace it with a head swing so it can knock down small dinos, it'll also make useg of the horns, but either way that's that Stego and deino are getting kit adjustments, so nothing to say here.
Carno is better in combat than cera right now, especially using the skipping bug which lets carno have more stamina than cera. The only saving grace is that carno is weak enough that playing it solo is worse at surviving than cera, buff carno and you’ll get update 6 carno populations all over again
@@nines5968I'm not a carno main, I'm just being realistic with the situation, carno already can easily die by bleed and venom, so that hardly changes anything, but give the carno more of an opportunity to not die everytime, while in one on one combat, but than again, is only a speculation, if it doesn't work it doesn't.
It's sorta a mix bag in regards to how we should change both cerato and carno to better. With cerato being oppressive with vomit lock and large stam and carno with..... well itself On one hand, these changes sound great but at the same time, they can heavily effect the quality of the two. Ceratos stam is high but it's stam regen without diets is not very good, so nerfing it can cause it to have a harder time in long fights unless near a body which won't always be the case and how we could remove vomit lock without it being useless or broken is hard which also leads to the idea of with both strong attributes gone, I'm not saying vomit lock is a good thing and if it's removed without causing other problems then it's good but stam drain should give access to stam regen boost as an alternative; or give cerato a small percentage of damage resistance to tolerate a bit of damage without the need of a body And now carno, for the most part is definitely needs buffs, and I do think the idea of headbutt alt so carnos actually use normal bite more against stuff like cera and teno alongside the accelerating boost. But I do worry about the faster turn while running as it would allow carno to effectively run and charge right into people easily making it harder to dodge it. Sorry for the rant but I do feel with such changes should come with other things to keep the playable balanced
ORNI You should do Dimetrodon aswell! Just a suggestion But pachyrhinosaurus and Dimetrodon- my god I love them both. I would love to see your ideas on it
I’d say the bigger the animal the more damage it would take when attacking kentro, same as stego, their spikes are too big to be effective as in the action of impaling things like utah, Herrera or troodon, they would just bounce off harmed and bleeding. A heavier dinosaur like allo would have the momentum and weight to be physically impaled by a spike penetrating their mouth or any part of their body. This logic is something like seeing a lion getting attacked by a rhino where the lion gets wounded by their opponent weight but never actually gets impaled, it’s more of a trampled result vs seeing a hippo fight a rhino where you can clearly see how, because of the hippos weight, the horn could actually get stuck in their mouth or their vulnerable spots.
Imagine if a rare chance getting albinism was added in the game, which would effect eyesight, cause some sort of vulnerability to the sun, and effect camouflage. I do apologise if I offend any people out there with albinism, I'm not very good at wording my sentences.
I think Kentro spikes instakilling would be somewhat unfair, imagine a Kentro's lag letting it turn enough to headshot you with spikes and instakill. I think just doing incredible bleed to everything and major damage to something like Omni is enough.
What you said at 7:40 got me thinking. I imagine Gateway is pretty much finished and now that they release things when they are done I think this whole “stress test application” thing is to get a lot of people ready to stress test gateway in the very near future so it can be released asap. Just have to hope we have been accepted into the stress test program 🤞🏻
I mean everyone keeps dogging on me about shitting on the roadmap but knowing the devs they are just gonna keep shoving things back and back on the roadmap. I dont trust em to release things when they are done because time and time again they have shown they will wait to release things for marketing reasons or just to drip feed.
I think kentro pack size should be 5 max. Enough to form an impenetrable circle, not enough to send missionaries out to bully people. Maybe even four to stop impenetrable circles, but with a quick-patch prepared in case it goes wrong. Kentro should be able to compi-to-a-stego utahs, but with heavier stam drain than normal. Speed should probably be enough to outrun ankle biters and knee biters like compi and austroraptor, but not utahs. So that kentro isn't an insta-hunt no-brainer to carnos and allos and cera, etc etc, make that bleed last MUCH longer and have punctures and broken bones included, like a hit to the leg (Tendon) making you slow and a hit to the torso (Lung) increasing stam drain. By hit I mean the carnis being dumb and getting too close. Just plain brainstorming here, what would a 'dodge' be like for a kentro? It's small enough to _maybeee_ warrant one, and it could be used as an attack as well. Final note, in that screenshot at about seven minutes, having apexes without making sure there's enough smalls to form an ecosystem, and adding only one apex carnivore is a really bad idea. You'll have money flowing in because of the T-rex, you'll be bankrupt the next week because of balancing.
Even if Kentro can't impale a utah if it pounces I would hope given the uniqueness of those side spikes that they will be heavily punishing for utahs who don't have a pin point jump
Now time to cook up some ideas for Austroraptor >:] bit sad he or bary not in the list of the dinos that will be worked on, but having Ovi, Maia, and Kentro really suffices for the lack of Austro or Bary XD
the new roadmap just gives me the same sadness that every update has brought me for the last like 2 years no news at all on any new fliers no news at all on quetz 😔
Orni do rugops i even have and idea for it i was thinking alongside the juvenile safehaven rugops could be elastic like a hampster or a mouse and be able to get into the sactuaries of juvenile safehavens and safely prey on the juvenile or small animals that resighn within
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyxalso another reason why rugops should work like i said is human hunting would cause humans to shoot them on sight regardless if they are atacking or not also how exactly can rugops even manage to get into a human base.
Honestly, the game asks extremely little of the player right now. Having to maintain your defenses is something the game could use for more than just one or two animals.
I feel like Kentro should be able to hit something so hard it's spike gets out. This will do damage to the kentro but the other dino will take lots of damage. If it's not taken out it can damage vital organs. If it's taken out it will do a lot of bleed and might be able to bleed out some dinos in a few seconds. When kentro releases everything should get a bleed buff because if they don't they will die to kentros bleed. If you have read this, your a legend
I find the roadmap boring. Not the items on it, there is a lot on it I am looking forward too...its just boring to look at. I liked how the Trello map you could see how things were progressing and how far things had gotten. I guess it depends on how the updates come. If every month or two we check another item off the list and it gets added to the game, and the roadmap gets updated with things being pulled from stage 2 to 1 and new items added to 2, then its great. If a year from now only half of what is currently is stage one is implemented and only two new dino's, then not so good.
I had an idea to make Kentro more offense based. There is fossil trackway evidence of kentrosaurus being able to run bipedally. So allowing Kentro to go bipedal in a special stance, that increases its movement speed and stamina drain.
Imagine a giga or a rexy biting that tail. Just takes a good chomp at it. The kent will definitely lose all its spikes but that rexy be fucked with the damn spikes in its skull. It doesn't really have arms to clear its mouth, it's just going to sit there forever with its face rotting away while it dies of starvation or infection. Now allosaurus though. Be a cool way to utilize the arms a bit more. Clearing your mouth out of hazardous materials. Congrats on the growth! You gonna hit 4 k soon. :D
Giga: Yeaaa boi Kentro: Come get me, ameture Giga: Gotcha bi***- *It clamps down on the Kentro* Giga:- FFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAA- Kentro: L bozo Kentro: L L L
Man idk, this SCREAMS kentros running at you trying to hit you with their spikes. Since, as one comment pointed out, kentros can switch to bipedal, the fast walk for kentro could be bipedal or when they try to eat slightly higher things. If their fast walk is bipedal they are less defended than when on ground leaving them more vulnerable, therefore disencouraging them to hunt down smaller carnivores just for the giggles. Well, since I'd like kentro to be faster than stego, like a speedy porcupine/hedgehog.
It would be fun to combine the impaling and the spikebreak. You 'can' impale an adult Utah, but if they manage to break free, they're taking that spike with them, basically.
3:44 I'm not entirely sure how heavy bleed is gonna effect cerato much. We have to remember that evrima cerato has both the naturally high bleed resistance and the ability to take far less bleed damage from any attack until effectively damaged which makes kentros bleed only effective against cerato when its low, but I think by then with a couple well timed blows from charge bite would probably kill the kentro. However I sorta do think the idea of cerato vs kentro should be interesting like how honey badgers will often fight porcupines but anyways bleed wouldn't do much to a cerato besides ticking it off
yo orni, nice to see more vids, i will say the roadmap is a little confusing cuz i don't know how its gonna be updated. A new vid whenever a new change is made?
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx tbh they should have made the stagger/stun shorter so the carno could bite bachys tail atleast because a carno weights over 3 times more than pachy and 3 pachys can kill a carno anyways
6:00 server whitelist would mean if ur on the whitelist u can get in so if ther servers 100/100 and u have 10 server whitelist members those 10 people can join no matter what its essentially a VIP option if u dont wanna give people u want want as admins, admin 6:26 think of legacy progression system but better also LDME is apparently scar system
Orni, i didn't find a way to contact you directly, so I'll try here. I sent this to Player0 as well, and he said i should bring you into this as well, as he thinks you would be very interested: Me and another friend are in the planning stages of creating a ruled server that should be as close to realism as it can. It's going to be a server where people can get the "simulation" they want from this game. We're both in our late 20's-early 30's with enough IRL and online experience with community management to believe we can create an objectively fair playground for everyone who wants that realism simulation. We will also make sure that the server has a lot of slots, the inital will be 100 slots, but as we grow to consistently fill that number, we will start upgrading to higher counts until we can't upgrade anymore. With that said, we are also looking for people in the community who can give us input and feedback on the plans, and rules. If you're interested, we would love to invite you to come and chime in. The initial idea was to wait until the new map was released, but if it takes too long, we will just start on the Evrima map.
No they don't, it depends on what species'. A lot of herbivores have territorial disputes and it's not uncommon that it results in fights, but some do get along, regardless tho, it's stupid to make that a universal thing
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx I think that'd be fine, considering that old pachy could completely disable an opponent's attempts to fight it. Stunning an animal 3x larger than it is out of its charge, making teno regret its life choices, etc. Whereas current pachy is killed by a sneeze from a Ceratosaurus
DILO 🔛🔝 seriously though, this new roadmap is a little underwhelming in the sense that most of this we already knew was coming. And they didn’t give dates because lord knows how that would end. Kentro, Ovi and a further confirmation that Gateway is coming in the next update is a W though.
