I personally agree that Cheirus should be a HIGHLY aggressive and territorial omnivore, exactly like geese and swans. I feel the overall size of the animal along with those giant hands definitely give it that territorial and stubborn goose like vibe. amazing video bro and I cant wait to see what evrima holds for my favorite non avian dinosaur!
Deinocherius is about to vibe check utahs to the sun lmao, though I'd picture Deinocherius like the modern day moose. It can feed on various types of plant life, but it is mostly seen near water, feeding an aquatic plants, diving for moose is common but I can see Deinocherius setting its head underwater.
Not sure about the Zebra ankys lol, but deinocheirus is gonna be an awesome addition to Evrima. It’s a huge herbivore with the weaponry to definitely do a lot of damage, even spino should be a little hesitant before engaging it. When it hits a enemy with its claws, it should do a bit of fracture and bleed. I mean look at the size of those hands. As far as diving, I could see the infants and adolescents having some form of diving ability, while as they get bigger, they begin to Wade or sink like a hippo, since they are now to big to dive in the channels or lakes it will Wade in.
The deinocheirus should be able to dive in rivers and small lakes but have pretty much terrible oxygen only being able to stay under for maybe 1-5 mins
I hope that Deinochirus' calls implement beak clicking similar to some of Ptera's but a lot deeper since it's beak is more wider, flatter and shorter than Ptera's.
Water sense should be reserved for predators like Deinosuchus and the Spinosaurs as they had sensory pits that allowed them to feel differences in water pressure. Since Deinocheirus is a forager first and a predator second it probably shouldn't get any special hunting abilities. I also don't see it hunting Austros but Beipeis and Minmis I can see being edible though perhaps not part of its diet. Also If Theri is the big clawing bleeder I think Deinocheirus should be the big clawing fracturing damage dealer as I see its use of its claws being a big blunt smack like being clocked like a bear rather than Edward Scissorhands. It will also help the two be more unique.
I dont know if deinosuchus would be a real threat to a fully grown deinocherius, but then again deinocherius' only true rival / predator being Spino and the occasional Rex when moving to different water bodies with both of them likely / very rare to find adult would be quite boring. But then again i dont see there being any other creature that can be a genuine threat to Deinocherius other then Spino, so idk.
"I'm such a quirky dinosaur fan I just love Deinocheirus because it's so quirky." Said every "quirky" dinosaur fan ever. Said with no disrespect, it's just funny cuz it's one of those dinosaurs that was interesting and lesser known, so now it's become really popular by people who like interesting lesser known dinosaurs, thus eliminating it's lesser known-ness.
I like water sense being a more limited feature, with not all aquatics possessing it. As for the calls, I think an interesting possible path would be something like a loon call, but obviously much deeper in tone. I rate Zebra Ankies 0/1 stars.
i love this dino to because he like pacifist. Just chilling in ponds or swamp eat some grass they like chill animals. I hope they got released pretty soon.
once any type of large carnivore that is not semi-aquatic would fear Deinocheirus. would only have two types of predators are Spinosaurus and Deinosuchus.
Well you was kinda right lmao. The concept for it did show the Cheirus Hippo walking/sprinting underwater which would be quite cool/unique. Not sure how it'd work for babies, maybe they can dive like a beipi and swim, but way slower, until they reach a certain weight. For deeper waters, I imagine they'll be on the slower side with swimming. The concept also showed the Cheirus standing atop mud/quicksand. If all of this is the case, it's maneuverability will be crazy in the swampy environments. It will surely be more territorial. The sound designer also has the perfect opportunity to create some horrifying sounds, It will surely be a source of horror for smaller dinos going for a drink at the swamp during the night.
Animals that only eat fish, should only eat fish. Since thats what they specialize in hunting. As far as scavanging, only carnivores should be able to do that since they need to rip and tear. Spino should, in all honesty, only be able to eat fish or small prey that can fit in its moath.
Imagine that if you were fighting in shallow water, deinoc would be able to drown its opponents by pushing them into the water and activating some sort of quicktime event for the person being drowned to escape. This idea was 100% not stolen by what kangaroos do to dingos irl
Yeah I agree deinocheirus should be the swan of the isle the Canadian geese of ornithomimids I also want Gallimimus to be a bit aggressive with so many predators that would find it an easy meal that trauma should make it a human killing machine if they don’t have guns
No. No zebra ankys thats just cursed. about the Deinocheirus i love the creature a lot. I love the idea of its alt attack being a hard slap i could imagine that.
Zebra ankys don't make sense on multiple levels: We really rarely find any groups of ankylosaurids at all, and especially the more derived ones were likely loners. So the Zebra tactic of confusing predators doesn't really Work here This strategy is also used primarily when the animals are in motion. Ankys, you know, aren't really moving too much IRL it is also suspected for them to have been deep forest or even swamp dwellers. So Open plains likely weren't really preferred Also, uhm, in my Personal taste this Just looks ugly. better animal patterns for ankys would be those of turtles, hippos or iguanas, as they have a more fitting Life Style and Body plan. The Zebra pattern I'd rather give to some smaller hadrosaur or ornithomimid.
Hoping for swamp walking effects. So that things like giga can't walk the swamps well but the terror duck from hell could. Duck vs spoon fight should favor the spoon tbh. Ducky got no teeth. However, because the ducky has much longer legs and no massive sail on its back perhaps it could be more agile over all? Also nah for the zebra anky. Makes no sense. Now zebra dryo though. Hmm hmm hmm. I is sad now you didn't tell me how to say it. ._.
To be honest i think that the title of "aggressive territorial apex herbivore" should go to Teri and instead give a "chill but lethal" vibe having vibrant and less screaming sound effects plus maybe more adult members per pack could be nice
Deinocheirus is gonna be great, happy you made a video on it! Probably one of the Dino’s I am most excited for :D keep up the amazing work! See you in the next one lol
I think with Deinocheirus if he was desesperate for food and he finds a very small dinosaur like Hypsi he would just kill it and then swallow it whole, since fossilized Deinocheirus have been founded with small animals on his stomach alongside fish And combat wise, there was a comment here wich metion bleed and fracture and i think that's a good choice, but i would like him being more fracture orienteted towards fracture than bleed but it's present to some degree
zebra anky reminds me of yesterday when nycta(pot) added para and the juvies had similar colours and stripes and it worked like a charm just like zebras irl
In my humble opinion anything that can grab should be able to wrestle animals of their weightclass. Deino, Spino, Theri (albeit I guess it won't be able to grab in the Isle because who needs animals to have adaptions for their lifestyle), Sucho, Bary, Beipi even. Iguano and random Megaraptorid too when those will inevitably get announced. I can live with Zebra anky if it is zebra the same way "zebra fish" (bannerfish) are zebra. Do your own thing and you're cool in my book.
Deinocheirus SHOULD have a tackle or some kind of grapple so it can get in close and personal. Using its massive size to shove around, pin, or just straight up drown a similar sized or smaller predator in a fierce display of power. Also I would love to see Deinocheirus swimming under the water like a heron or like a capybara but still able to bob its head out of the water.
Subadult Deinocheirus should have a big rivalry with suchomimus, since they would be in the same size range, and both of them are waders. Cheirus should not be a diver, not should it have any water sense like a spinosaurid. Somewhat cumbersome on land, but still quicker than its Apex brethren since it is still an ornitomimid. A light and heavy claw attack will likely be its bread and butter.
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx Thank you! My buddy has a RU-vid channel for aviation and he also has the "Activate Windows" pop up and I posted the same message in every single video of his!
It would be great but the isle ewrima is too slow in development, it's a real shame, it has so few playable dinosaurs, update 6 is supposed to release more dinosaurs, but I think it will be next year. even path of titan has much more progress and updates.
All spinosaurs should get water sense because of the pressure sensors on their noses. Btw, i like to respect opinion,ls, but thinking that a fully grown spinosaurus wouldn't dismantle a deinocheiris is crazy to me lol
I have and idea for deinocheirus sound design and that’s the deinocheirus rapidly banging it’s jaw together like the shoe bill I think that would be really cool! Also I believe all semi aquatic’s should be able to dive and see underwater I feel that should just be a given sense well there semi aquatic’s lol. Also umm zebra anky? That makes very umm little sense if we gotta be honest. Edit: what I mean by dive is just the deinocheirus being able to submerge in water not full on penguin dive like bepi lol. Another thing I don’t thing most semi aquatic’s should have a type of water sense it makes sense for deino and spino and Bary n sucho to have it cause there’s actually evidence of them having that capability lol but deinocheirus and bepi and whatever other semi aquatic coming shouldn’t have that ability cause simply they don’t need it the whole point of deino having it is because it waits at the water edge to snatch someone up and this helps them out while we’ll last I checked bepi n deinocheirus don’t really do that lol.
Deino should be the only aquatic with the water 'sense' because its the only one that requires it, all the other semi aquatics have the benefit of escaping on land or chasing prey on it while Deino is completely reliant on being able to sense something drinking from the banks. That benefit should be the Deino's and Deino's only.
@@IndominusRex-wc1ey because Spinosaurids, like crocodiles have little sensors on their snouts which helped them when fishing. It makes sense and they do need it.
