I love the thickness and the volume of your locs. This was my dream locs but I didn’t start the process when I had a full thick of hair like yours. Now my hair is to thin and don’t have the thickness or the volume to make it full out like this. You have beautiful locs❤

I am on my second journey. The first journey was 4 years and I cut them out and forgot to keep my locs. So now I am in for my final loc journey and these will be permanent. Your locs looks good.

Yes, she’s most definitely worth it. Just be specific & know what type of parting you want & if you want a lot or a little & she will take it from there. Regardless she’s super helpful & understanding. Nothing wrong with starting over as many times as you have to because locs are permanent & you want them to be as close to perfect as possible. 💓

Hey thanks! We personally chose to stay away from palm rolling to allow our hair to flourish in its frizzy stage. But in my recent videos, I now get my locs palm rolled. 💓

My son wants locs bad… and obviously I don’t have 4C hair so I have to learn… what’s the steam for? Is it so the moisture can absorb into the scalp better? Cause my babies could use all the moisture they can get in their scalps.

Hey, after getting them they were hard and stiff like a regular loc. However, when I put water on them they got softer and loosened up. In the end, once they’re fully locked they will be hard and mature like locs are supposed to be.

Hey, I waited a month and a half I think. 🥴 Only because I was scared to see what they would look like after washing them I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t want to mess them up especially after paying so much money to get them done. However, I sprayed them with rose water every other day and still oiled my scalp to keep them moisturized. 💓

Not at all lol because it takes hours to get them done. I was just impatient and didn’t want to wait or wear starter locs. However, they are easier to maintain because they won’t come undone when you go swimming, wet, or wash them.

All that excess usage of that locking needle will ultimately lead to weak spots in your locks and you losing some. They won't come loose now just let them lock now on their own.

Agreed. The usage of the crochet needle was only used when we feel a loc needed some slight maintenance. This was towards the beginning of our instant loc journey. However, that’s not the case now, our locs are definitely locking without help of the needle and we no longer use it unless needed.

What's the steam for? I have been wearing faux locs, but getting instant locs with extensions and my husband in getting instant locs no extensions

I was told the steam helps prevents breakage, dryness, & frizz. It also helps moisturize locs & make them feel softer. Faux locs are a great protective style just be careful taking them out. Also, instant locs with added extensions are a safer protective style and a better way to get longer locs quicker. 💕

This video does not show the process of me getting instant locs because that is shown in a previous video. This video only shows me getting my instant locs washed and retwisted. Overall, I have instant locs because they were created using a crochet hook. View previous videos. 💓

This took 2 hours & 35 mins without the wash. Maybe close to 3 hours with the wash included. 💓

Hey, honestly it’s hard to say. If you watch my old video of my 1st set of Instant locs, I asked for medium but those turned out huge. So then I got those combed out and I told her I wanted a full head and I focused more on my grid. My grid is now smaller, so I guess I have size small locs, they just get thicker over time.
