Actually Trooper, we've played many times together and I've been away from poker for a while but I just played at Golden Nugget and it was insane. It was exactly like 2008 Planet Hollywood.. I know its harder to find the games now but it does exist.. I use to play at Planet Hollywood every night..

Watching your vlogs over the years only helps confirm the state of poker in Vegas has seriously deteriorated. The interest in poker that was around then just doesn't seem to be around anymore and with that, many a poker room went with it. Not really sure what would be needed to recreate the conditions that made the 2003 poker boom possible--let alone if it even is possible. That said, I still love the content and will be following here and on SPRKLi Sweets! I also never got the point of $10 bills either. 🙃

I've been saying for over a decade that the stupid high roller nonsense has ruined NLHE tournament poker, especially in Las Vegas. Remember the days of $50 and $100 tournaments with hundreds of people entered and the chance to win a few thousand dollars in an afternoon? I sure do. The places that offer tournaments need to go back to the satellite game days where people can enter into a turbo tournament for ~$10-30 where the top two or three people advance to a higher stakes tournament, such as the $10K guaranteed-$100 buy ins like the Golden Nugget and others offered. Even the Venetian $300 game was a heckuva payout back in 2008, many times the winner taking over $10,000 themselves.

Have watched your videos the past five years or so. In the interest of making $$ through them have always thought you should blend what you did with a more detailed hotel/casino guide. Put a Trooper spin on that type video that is so popular with a poker segment added in for properties with poker rooms. Property overview, history, amenities, restaurant overview, casino overview, pool, hotel room, eat a meal in one of the restaurants AND play poker. I know, probably not your thing or your vision, but I think it could work well for you. All the best.

Don’t you think you would get way less bad beats playing higher stakes though? I think your game is better suited for 2-5 and 5-10, not for low stakes. Still think if you played higher stakes the last 10 years you would avoid all the crazy bad beats and have much better results. Once when you played 2-5 you had a realization that you would see through the good players too and you were encouraged.

I mean I told him years ago he wasn't going to make it, which he angrily responded to, it was just obvious by the way he played and the way he reacted to losses, but give him credit he built up a middle America type fanbase, he can't be too far off retirement at this point, it's been a long time but he picked up a good looking lady last time I checked in here, if that didn't keep happens to the best of us. The Detroit lions 🦁 were looking great until they weren’t 😂 I was at green valley sports book watching the game. The guy sitting to my right was a Detroit native, pulling hard for his home team. He said that he was a cancelled journalist due to his digging into Hunter Biden’s nefarious “business practices”. He now does stand up comedy in Las Vegas. I looked him up.
