My Interview at Walgreens 

Interview is tomorrow wish me luck✊🏽 Update: I got the job !

I work at Walgreens and it’s my absolute favorite job I’ve ever worked at. I’ve worked for about 10 different companies. I moved up quickly to shift lead but yes it is a lot of hours, schedules all over the place, staying late, coming in early, getting called in when someone calls out.. it’s because it’s a small store and we only have just enough employees. I’ve tried to have second jobs in the beginning, but I found that I make enough money and hours working only for Walgreens. The job is not for everyone though... it can be strenuous and repetitive.. but it can also be very rewarding.

My experience with Walgreens for 9 years was wonderful. The call out thing is that if others at other stores call out you are given the chance to pick up their hours, if desired. I worked another store for another person who was on maternity leave. When working at another store away from your base store Walgreens pays the mileage difference. Every store has it's own needs to the face-to-face interviews vary by manager. I left to retire and care for grandchildren while their parents work.

15 years with them love it. Easy advancement and any store should b more then happ with nightsand weekends those are the shifts others dont like...but i do see 5pm start time not working out since am shits typically end around 3 or 4pm

I got the job at Walgreens! I’m so stoked! I haven’t worked since 2015! I can’t wait to make new friend and also be there for the experience and making people happy shopping at Walgreens

Don’t settle. There are lots of jobs for evenings and weekends keep looking.

i worked for walgreens for 13 years from 2003 to 2016 my sister worked for the company she put in a good word in for me i had a interview then a few days later i got the job

I think he didnt hire you due to the availability. I used to work at Walgreens and I remember my schedule was all over the place. One day I would work 10 to 6 pm, the next 1 to 7 pm and so on. I complained about it but they kept doing that so I eventually quit. Apparently that is how retail goes.

I like your blouse! I know someone who isn’t very skilled in anything and they work at Walgreens so the thing about you not being qualified is a lie ..good you’re not working there. I got a job as a seasonal front desk at H&R Block. Good luck to your job hunt

They told me they’d call Friday 😢 they said they were trying to hire 4 people. They said half of the interviews haven’t came in so things are looking good for me. So idk if I’m gonna get it or not.

I think u dodged a bullet. I worked there years ago, while in HS... I hated it. They expect u to be available all the time... And the work is boring. Consider starting ur own pet sitting business...
