Ariana Trejo Questions like "how would you handle a co-worker who is having a bad day," "describe a time where you had to satisfy an unsatisfied customer," "describe a time where you helped someone or an organization for a good cause (like donations or something. I said something along the lines of helping my friends in high school with a fund raiser in which i made fund-raising more intriguing and effective)," and, "describe a time when you received positive feedback from a co-worker (I recommend saying something that makes you look better as an individual)." If you can't think of any... dont say "uhhhhh" or "ummm." You can lie with some of the things you say but not everything! Hope that helps

Name a time you could say you were a team player, tell me about the situation and what you did? Tell me about a time you boosted morale ? Wish I could remember them all but I can’t .By the way I got the job but I ended up quitting because I really didn’t like it.Once hired you have to take tests on videos you watch every week. It is non-stop and everyone has to take them even employees that have been there for years.You are expected to do it in between customers BUT you never have enough time,the tests and video are usually 45 min long and you end up guessing answers and management even encouraged you to just guess and not really watch because no time to do it right. So you don’t really learn & If you guess wrong though u have to watch that portion of the video again until you get it right. When a situation for example ordering a product for a customer arises you don’t know how because you never learned it in the video you didn’t really watch lol There is no one around to help .You end up calling management who can get aggravated.Oh and expect to stay overtime to complete if you haven’t finished the test by the short deadline given because you ran out of time while busy doing other work. Every Monday they have a meeting with associates They have a chart they go over with you that rates store figures,weekly tests,customer complaints, holes ( empty spaces that weren’t filled in the store) etc.They tell you what needs to be improved and you have to sign off on it. There are extreme couponers that come in with 20 coupons and it is hard to get straight there ever changing coupon acceptance policy. You are not just a cashier you do stock too and also work in the photo area which gets hectic helping customers with photos ,printing out photos, calling customers also taking pictures for passports.You wire money for customers through Western Union & hand out packages of ship to store orders for customers .The phone system is complicated and all codes that are used to transfer calls you are expected to memorize in a day because nothing is written down. You are left alone on your first day after about 2 hours with a buddy. Good luck ! OH and also they are open EVERY holiday. Christmas Eve they have EXTENDED hours 7am to midnight. Christmas Day back to normal hours which is 7am - 10pm but yes they are open and you are expected to work... They only hire part time but that doesn’t stop them from scheduling you for 9 hour shifts and an extra day off so you still end up with part time hours by the end of the week. If you work over 5 hours you get a half hour unpaid lunch .They never give breaks no matter how long your shift is. I also want to add that the videos you see on the internet that portray working at Walgreens as a laid back place to work are very misleading. One of the “ associates” claims that she just fills in lollipops to pass the time. lol there is no time to pass you are always doing something and you don’t have to find something to do to keep you busy. Incase you are wondering I applied for the cashier position.LOL

Michael Perkins definitely mostly Question 2-4 tbh those made me score high the most he likes my answers I answered the same answers as the videos haha

Yes it can happen. Not certain but it can especially if you keep your eye on a permanent job and have really good performance.

Omg did it not post… i got the job!!

She basically just asked me if i knew the job i would be doing and all of the tasks, how id handle an angry customer, my availability, and it was like 15 mins in total tbh, went really well and i wore business casual clothing!

def make sure to note that you KNOW how much time you can handle, I tried to make myself appear very confident since I’m also a college student and needed her to know i can handle the workload. (Since I asked for 25-35 hours a week)

Luis Rosario they never called me back. And the interviewer seemed slow to me. And i ended up getting hired at ross for more pay
