Hospital is good Roscommon is a great location for those who want to be near everything while paying less. Just 30 minutes to Athlone and Sligo and 90 minutes to Galway and Dublin airport, living in Roscommon makes getting around easy. Cheapest place to buy a house and one of the safest counties in Ireland . Yes it is inner county as you said so it is definitely not like Dublin, but there are some other benefits in terms of expenses.

Unlike working in the hospital setting, the majority of the time, our patients are well (most of the time) and we are working in their home. We will get to know them as individuals and their families in a more in-depth way that we don’t have the opportunity to in an acute setting. Ultimately, it can be a very rewarding role as we have the time to care for the person and not only their medical problems.
