If your ipad doesnt turn on due absence of proper charging over a long period of time then you need to connect it to a charger for day or two and keep it as it is. My iPad successfully booted up on Day 2.

Best video here. I had an ipod down for a year b/c it wouldn’t charge. I tired the rest and plugging onto iTunes and nothing would work!! Finally, I simply blew into the charging port and cleaned with a toothbrush and it turned in right away!! Thank you!!

Thank you for your video. I could not do an update or restore to my 2015 iPad. I tried your suggestion to change the USB cable and success! You saved me a lot of money and running around to a repair shop.

Fantastic! I have been trying to start my iPad Air3 for the last three hours. After pressing the power button on and off so many times, it would finally turn on, only to turn off again within a few seconds. It kept showing that I needed to recharge the battery, but once it finally started it showed 100% charged! After so many attempts, I figured my battery must be charged 100% of what little life was left in the battery. I grabbed my wife’s iPhone, and after a couple attempts of finding a good video, yours showed up. The first option of pressing the power button and start button at the same time worked, but then, after only a couple of seconds the iPad shut off again. Then I went to option two, “reset all”. It is now working perfectly!!! I almost took it into the shop to buy a new battery. I’ve seen your videos before, and it help me through another situation. You guys are great. Thank you for posting these videos!

i have already tried hard resetting my ipad multiple times yet it still wont turn on. i was just using it normally and suddenly it turned off, i thought my ipad mightve died but it was fully charged so i just assumed it went down quickly but ive charged it for hours and nothing happened, still did not turn on, and since i dont have another apple device, i dont know how to connect it anywhere, any one got any ideas on how to help with my situation??

My screen comes on with the battery image (showing very low) and the lightning bolt icon (I assume it means it's reading that the battery is being recharged). However, the battery won't recharge. Any ideas on home repairing this so my I Pad will come on again?

Hi! My iPad recently had a crash do you have a recommendation for where to buy the adapter starting school Tuesday and I really need it to work.

Tip: Buy a usb detector with voltage and current measurement capability before messing with brushes, cables or connectors and such. With this usb detector you can see there is 5V on the line and and you can see it consumes any power (50 to 100ma when off), if this is true, everything on that side is okay.

Although it’s unknown, what if your iPad is not working because it was infected with a virus? Would plugging it into a MacBook be a threat to the MacBook by possibly causing the virus to get transferred? The Logo appears, but the iPad never reboots and never goes to the home screen. Thanks

Ok so what about this, iPad shows it’s 100% charged, I leave power on all night but turn the screen off, next morning press a button then enter my code No., normal screen appears, battery icon 100%, 10 - 20 seconds later black screen with flat battery icon so I leave it for hrs, try it again about 8pm by holding the power button, 20 or so seconds later it boots up normally! Repeat performance every day!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

if anyone has had this problem before, can you tell me how to fix it? I have an iPad, and it was working fine. My old charger wasn't working, so it hasn't been charged/used in a few days. I recently got a new charger and it's brand new, but my iPad didnt turn on. It just stays on a black screen. It doesn't even show the no battery symbol or an apple logo. Just black screen. I tried the hold power button down, the hold power button and home button down, and just about everything I can find online. My next step is to go to the Apple Store and get it fixed. Can someone please reply anything that they think may help? I will 100% try anything. Thanks!

Amazing! Thought my ipad was bust. Tried all the buttons for various times. Watched the first 20 seconds of this and did the hold the home button and power button together and it was a full 15 seconds.

I was downloading an app and then suddenly it shutdown by itself. And now it is stucked/frozen and won't turn on. I tried to plug in to my charger and it didn't work. I tried the lock button and home button but it didn't work either. And yeah my lock button is broken.
