I agree with you. I used to listen to a lot of nightcore when i was younger but then i realized just how useless of a genre it was (to me personally). If people like it it's fine, you do you. I'm not here to say what you can and can't like. These days if you like nightcore you can literally just click a button on any youtube video's settings and it achieves the same thing. I'm surprised nightcore is still such a popular thing.
I agree with every word. In general, I usually don’t listen to the nightcore, but I saw so many people who like it. My friend also listens mostly only to a nightcore. I once asked him about this, and you know what he said? “I don’t have enough time to listen to a regular song, but I want to listen to it completely, so I’m listening to the accelerated version.” Well, let them listen to what they want, I don’t care anyway)) Lazy boys and girls))
Personally, i used to like Nightcore a lot; and i do still listen to it sometimes, although it's mostly a phase i've fallen out of. I do agree that nightcorers aren't musicians or remixers or any kind of artists and that it's easy to do what they do. But i don't like calling them lazy if they don't ask for recognition/fame in return, because to me, even though it's not hard to do what they do, it's just kind of a service done for people who want to listen to nightcore but don't want to have to do it themselves for every song. To me, nightcore videos require just enough effort to make that i don't want to do it myself and am grateful others do it for me, but not enough that the creators would deserve great fame and recognition for it.
Never listed to nightcore because back in my day we called it chipmunk music and it was obnoxious then as it is now. I still don't know how people can listen to it
Underrated video I used to do a lot of nightcore when I was like 10 years old with Audacity It kinds of saddens me to see grown ups making a living out of stealing other people art and the audience not giving a crap because they're childrens and they don't really care about that stuff
I use to get confused with the real song and the night core when I was young And now that I compared the real song and the night core, night hurts my ears really.

whenever I find a new song that interests me but then find out that it's a nightcore version I ALWAYS listen to the original first and then decide which is better. It's usually the original with only a few exceptions. Basically, Nightcore artists should pick their songs for pitching a bit more carefully. Because they are not only disliked due to their laziness but also because their content is usually worse than the original!!

I actually love Nightcore. When I first started to discover the internet I only listened to Chipmunk versions of songs and then I discovered Nightcore. I prefer Soundcloud over Spotify because Spotify doesn't have Nightcore.
There’s one thing i believe you forgot to mention: It is really easy to ripoff someone’s work and mask with Nightcore and profit from it. It is easy to make, and those who actually had the work to do don’t see part of the revenue thar could be seeing because someone simply made a sh*tty job bg and speed up the beat.
Nightcore is so popular because it often sounds better and more like a party song than the normal version. But I wouldn't consider people who make Nightcore musicians either because it's just not hard to make.
Everyone's got their very own taste of music. I'm glad that - even though you like to listen to nightcore versions of songs - you realize, that doing nightcore music is not really being a "musician".
I listen to like one nightcore song but that's not because it was nightcore but because it was a mash up of two songs that I liked. I don't mind people listening to it (bad as I think it is), but when they actively defend the "specialists" who essentially steal the music it's a bit sad to me

I personally disagree, but i should note that I'm no expert. (I'm no artist whatsoever, nor am i knowledgeable about this field) For one, i believe that SOME (wayy not all) are actually trying to make it sound better. I can hear that, when its the same song, and EXACT same length, one is sometimes better then the other. I do say that nightcore reduces impact a lot, but makes up for that in speed. Some songs that I personally like, i like only in Nightcore, due to it being slow. While other songs i despise in Nightcore. Basically, I mean to say is, not all Nightcore makers are that effortless, but indeed, most are. It all ends up being a topic of taste. I love your music as is, and wouldn't want a nightcore nor a darkcore version of it. You can hear the quality of it being as is. Keep up the good work, and most of all, keep doing what YOU like.
I agree with the fact that nightcore is super easy, I used to to the same on my 3ds when I was about 12, and I didn't even know that it was nightcore at the time since I didn't have instant access to the internet. It also just sounds unnatural from the change in pitch and speed.
I actually made a Daycore (the opposite of nightcore but just as easy) Chanel just to make Daycores of songs I can’t find, and it’s so simple. I am not a lazy boi because that’s a side Chanel just to make Daycores to listen to. I mainly make art and that takes effort. But nightcore and Daycores professionals are lazy. hm quite agreeable i say i normally listen to the normal songs and not nightcore versions of it also when i trying to find a good remix on underrated songs only see nightcore nightcore kinds of stuff and tend to get annoyed by it look i like listening to remixes but i dont care about nightcore kinds of stuff even when i love anime still dont non of the less
As a person with an interest in the trance genre nightcore is something I find interesting. Unlike most genres of trance nightcore hasn't evolved much just expanding from trance genres. The association with anime I suspect is from its rise roughly coinciding with the anime craze of the 2000s. It really has fallen since the days of Splash IMO.

I listen to a couple of nightcore songs but for me they ruined the actual flow of the song in my personal opinion, as much as people enjoy the music of nightcore or any type of music they enjoy i won't judge em for it, they like whatever they enjoy but again my personal opinion on this, i don't like nightcore because it ruins the flow of the song and the "true meaning" as i like to think of it, and as generic as it sounds and feels when hearing the song, to me its like listening to a 12 year old sing and was forced into a chair listening to it. (Very specific I know) joking aside from that, that's how I feel and I completely agree with Amella's statement from how the songs are played out.
Local Musician Destroys Nightcore I mean, I don't care if people like listening to it but man I agree 100%... Nightcore is basically 1. Take any song you like, 2. Speed it up and increase the pitch and that's it, then take a cutesy/badass anime bg and call it a day :V (also nice voice :3c)

I agree, I also don’t think nightcore is that good, I mean I used to like it but not anymore. All their doing is taking music (under fair use of course) and only changing it slightly. I don’t get how ppl like it, I mean if you like sped up songs u can speed it up urself. But that’s just my opinion, think what you want. I honestly don’t give a crap.

Honestly, I do get some points, but I do not agree with all of them. For example there is "U N D E R D O G S." a pretty popular Nightcore channel. The videos on his/her (not assuming gender at this point) are pretty different from usual Nightcore Videos. And I think they look like the person put some time in it. But I get the point of a simple lyric video + lyrics.
Full agreement. Nightcore is basically the same as stealing someone's art and putting some photoshop filters on it. It's just that easy - and it's basically just living off someone else's hard work. It's sad to see that some night core covers even get multiple times the views as the original they have stolen. And it's the worst when these thieves even make money with it (ads, patreon, anything). It's dishonest work. Nothing else. Not to mention that the artworks used for the videos are usually stolen/randomly grabbed from google as well.

I don't tend to care for it, but when a musician specifically says not to nightcore their work and they do it anyway, they're trash. I've seen musicians have to nightcore their own work to stop people from making it themselves against their will.
I don't agree with the lazy or easy argument. It gives the implication that only difficult or time consuming work is valid as music and only people who spend X- hours working are real musicians. And nightcore, though im not a fan, is a friendly starting point for would be editors or musicians. But I guess the real question is what is art? something that resonates with you or something that just took a lot of effort to make?
Think of it this way: Is it really considered a musician, if they literally use the "stretch-tool" for every single song in the same way. Being a musician is not about spending X-hours on a song. It's more about doing music, learning about new rhythms, new harmonies, new melodies. Learning new ways to mix and master, learning new ways to record sound, etc. If someone gets accustomed to doing Nightcore, they wouldn't have the patience nor the diligence to do their own music. If someone were to make nightcore music (which takes around 3 minutes to make per song), would they be willing to spend 10 hours on a single song, as well? Or would they rather stay in their comfort-zone, and stick to using the very same stretch tool in and out? I think the latter is the case.
