I wish I had a mom like yours, I mean... She's a total goof and a sweetheart! Plus, she reads manga and watches anime(yeah?). If I even walk in the same room as my mom with an anime character being shown of the screen of my phone, she immediately criticises me without a care as to how that affects my mental state... One time I was home alone watching "Inuyasha" I was very little and only saw it as a cartoon with lots of pretty colors... My mom came home earlier than I expected, and made me watch something more "Appropriate" like spongebob or *fucking* Dora. She even fired my babysitter for allowing me to watch anime because to her it is considered "Japanese Porn" and "Unfit for the mind of a child" she has always been that way... I never watched an anime after that, I was afraid she'd yell at me. Until one day, I was twelve at the time, I went to play with my new neighbor--I moved around a lot as well, mom was always jumping from boyfriend to boyfriend after she and dad split up. I was never in the same place for more than four years, which was the longest I've ever stayed in one house.--my neighbor was at that stage where she had started getting into animes and comic books(I say comics because she didn't read Japanese manga at that age.) She introduced me to lots of weird animes I didn't understand(boy X boy) because I was a cinnamon roll. I later found out the name of the first anime I watched, after seeing an image of the dog-demon "Inuyasha" and also "Kagome". I watched the show on my phone, whenever mom was at work and I was home alone. I watched it AT LEAST four different times, before getting bored and deciding to go on a quest for a *new* anime. And here I am now, four years later. I've watched lots of animes in my spare time, or when I'm supposed to be sleeping, which is why I've developed insomnia. I'm still not aloud to watch anime around my mom, or bring home mangas from the public and school library. Your mom is really cool, I'm sure your dad is to. Lucky you.
