Awesome TJ build.! I have a 02 similar build. I replaced the stock axels with 44's off of a JK Rubicon, trussed and long armed, 4" lift running 37's. Next upgrade is the Atlas transfer case, just gotta find the time to tackle it. Gotta love the TJ's! Really enjoy your channel.
Hi. I got 04 TJ with longarm, jkr axles. 4.5 rubicon express lift. I have 35s on now. I scored some 37s which i wanna put on. I would like to get on touch with you via email or maybe email as i want to ask a few questions on how you did certain things.
Came across your TJ earlier this year. I left my 04 TJ (same color) at a friends shop out West to be rebuilt about a year ago, while I picked up one of my YJ's. It's comical to see the similarities between our TJ's 🤣 If the timing works out, I'll pick it up from his shop at the end of this month and go straight to King of the Hammers for a few days before driving back East. I plan to do a build video after I get it home, I'll make sure to get a hold of you for a good laugh. Take it easy man, keep up the good work!
Can’t wait to go back to HS and hit the trails you did. Didn’t see any trials like that. But it was our first time. Went for Thanksgiving 2023. Very nice wheeling vids. Loved it. Thx.
I assume you want to keep it low, I get that, But you could also do a 1 inch body lift to help with the rear clearance. Still a sick build. I love those 37's on those rims with that colour, Well done man. Cool channel, keep going.
Yea I considered doing as small of a body lift as possible, but I just really don’t like them. I’d rather trim a little, but nothing wrong with running a small body lift at all.
I should have subscribed earlier. I saw your jeep in early videos, and you popped back up on my feed. The TJ is looking awesome brother! I really love that tire/wheel combo! Keep killing it!
Great job on your TJ build . Mine also has come along way in 2023 and more to come in 2024 . Hope you and your family had a great holiday season. Take care and catch you on your next video.
Love the khaki, did you have the half doors paint matched? I need to have it done and am wondering how well they match in person. Also, the outboarding has been a nice upgrade more travel and a better ride.
Nice Jeep! What are your thoughts on ball joint eliminators? Since you mentioned annual replacement of ball joints, is that something that you have investigated?
A front axle swap is in our near future so I’m not wanting to invest any more into the Dana 30. I highly recommend the eliminators though, I know a lot of people running them!
That’s about $15-20k in parts plus labor. If you can do the work yourself, you’ll save thousands. If you paid a shop to do that work, it’s probably another $10-15k. I have a very similarly built 01 tj.
