Nice whip! I really like the E92 with the V8, but the E46 is a classic now. You’ve kept it clean with your mods and I respect that. Edit: I commented before finishing the video, you have a E92 as well lol. I have a 2010 ISF which is arguably a direct competitor to the E92 at the time
@@orionsires yup all of my vehicles are from that generation. It’s like the start of where the interior tech is still passable today, but the rest of the vehicle is still analogue enough where it’s still a car and not a computer.
I have a 03 Laguna Seca Blue Convertible. Put in about $15 K into it with a Dinan package to up HP and torque. Did put in a 3.93 rear end which really makes the car quick. Never want to part with it!!!
Right on!! Yeah mine is having battery issues now so I’m thinking new battery or alternator has gone. I was at a shop for about a year getting the car sorted so I’m thinking the battery died from sitting around 😂

@@orionsires bro same here lol I drive an 05 imola red e46 m3 also was looking into getting Laguna Seca at 1st , but all the ones in the NewYork area were clapped out lol it was hard to find a clean one especially 2 years ago when I was 1st looking , collect Lego speed champions and random other cool ones , still have all my gameboys and DS’s , play and own at least 1 copy of every mainline Pokémon game currently playing throught Black 2 , sneakers , clothes , supreme , skateboards , Se bikes , Gsxr 750 project bike , watch’s mainly digital 80’s & 90’s ….. I’m literally all over the place it’s an instant sub for me lol
Late to the party, switch the paddles, i.m.o. they look horrible. It doesn’t match the stock aesthetic of the car. Even if it were modded, I’m still not a fan. I recommend getting paddles from Storm Motorwerks. They are a much nicer discrete look (OEM style) however with a modern flare (light up + and -) and super premium feel. You should consider their shift knob to match 👍
I’ll consider the recommendation! The paddles aren’t mean to match the car they are meant to match the drivers style and I absolutely love them. I’ve changed so many parts of the car and in the end I’ve come back to a mostly stock look but kept the paddles and rear diffuser as far as aesthetic. I definitely don’t want to have it look modded anymore. Just want the classic look. But I DO love the idea of a modern wheel and a cockpit update. This car is so old but still looks good to me. Nice looking alpine white one. 😎🙏🏼
Nice but definable ditch that tacky stuck on duck tail. Ruins car. I keep my mint low mile e46 factory I prefer as it’s not a csl I don’t try to make it one. but if your gonna do a csl boot lid do properly and buy the whole rear boot as they are on a csl. Not just stuck on. U can get good copies. Get that strut brace back on it’s all part of the chassis rigidity. I like that u kept chrome grills so much better than blacked out. Also note it’s not the subframe pulling itself apart they stay solid it’s the bootfloor that gets cracked from the stress of the subframe pulling on it and BMWs bad spot welds and not making the bootfloor rigid enough.
Hey Lee so you’d be glad to know before even seeing this comment about a month ago I pulled the csl poser trunk lid off entirely. I just didn’t like it anymore and decided to get it back to just stock style. I also had the paint corrected as well and the car looks mint now! I’m so excited to drive it next week or so! I know it could help with corners and rigidity but it’s not something I feel I need, I need to get dents out, door repainted and that’s more important to me to get the car looking like a real collector piece. 😎🙏🏼
Consider it being as important as it stiffens the car and prevents the sub frame from cracking. You did the plates tho so you should be good :) Otherwise thanks for the video. I love mine too and also not selling it. I just did the csl airbox. Different car. Go for it!
@@Qadi90 really would love to grab the csl air box I know it makes a huge difference in the sound and that’s one of the best parts of the s54 😎 I’ll consider the engine brace soon as I would enjoy seeing if there’s a difference in hard turns
😂 Hilarious that he can't remember the major stuff that he has done to it. He will never get that money back, and I'm not dossing him I'm in the exact same boat. I bought mine for 12k and have probably put 20 into it.
