Ive fished from a boat onnthe jetty's with a Crowder 12-20 eseries spin with a shimano 4500B baitrunner with 50 lb. Braid and 60lb. Liter

Thanks for the info. I’ve usually gone with a 4000 reel on a 7ft rod . Now I’ve added spoons and gonna use my surf set up(6000/9ft rod) see if I can’t grab me a monster.

6 inch lures that come in a pack of four. The weight isn’t specified but they are about an ounce and a half to 2 ounces I’d say.

That's killer too! I've seen big snook and trout caught on them but I don't throw them often. They are just often difficult to work with hard currents and strong winds sometimes but if you are patient it'll produce.

i got a jetty setup, used it once didnt catch anything cause i was fishing and fish dont like me apparently. now its being all winter and its cold and windy.
