Hey Daniel! Happy to see you back and proud of you! Time does really fly. I would like to see videos on your systems for academics and life. Also would like to see a video on how your perspective on medicine has evolved from being a Pre-med. Thanks!

Congratulations Daniel Gabriel! Wishing you greater heights in your academic prowess. I’m so happy to hear from you and to see your amazing videos. Congratulations on choosing your specialty for Medicine at Harvard Medical School. You are truly an inspiration for me and other Nigerian medical students who want to practice Medicine in the US. I appreciate your efforts to create helpful and engaging videos for us. Here are some topics that I would love to see you cover in your future videos: 1.) How to prepare for the USMLE exams and get a high score? Are resources like UWorld really necessary? 2.) When do you think is the best time to write the USMLE Step 1 and 2 for a student studying in a Nigerian medical university? During medical school in Nigeria or after medical school in Nigeria? If during medical school in Nigeria, any suggestions from you or other collaborators who you may shoot your next video with on how to combine both the Nigerian medical school exam preparation with the USMLE exam preparation? 3.) What can we do as Nigerian IMGs especially those from low income backgrounds do to boost our chances to secure a coveted residency spot at top-notch hospitals in America like Massachusetts General Hospital especially as I am schooling in a country (Nigeria) where there is close to zero research opportunities for students if not even for practicing clinicians too. 4.) Are there residency spots like in my case, is there any maximum amount of years given to residency applicants in Neurosurgery both U.S medical graduates and IMGs to apply to a specific program in top notch hospitals like MGH? 5.) Is it necessary to do Masters or PhD for IMGs who wants to practice Medicine in America? 6.) Is there anyway an IMG could gain hands-on-experience from a U.S hospital environment without having to pay like getting a scholarship program or something? These are some of the topics that I think would be most beneficial for me and other IMGs who want to follow your footsteps though you're not an IMG. I hope you find them interesting and useful. I look forward to watching your next video and learning from your experience and insights. Thank you for being such a great friend and role model. You rock, Daniel! 🙌 As more ideas drop, I'll keep adding. Thanks

Hi Daniel, It was really nice to see what all has happened and how much you have learned over the couple of years 😊 I am 5th year phd grad in neuroscience in Virginia and I am currently thinking to pursue medical school. I am also an international student. I would love if you can share some insights of your medical school application( your MCAT score, experience , stats and how were you able to secure full scholarship). I really want to follow your footsteps because my family just cannot afford medicinal tuition fees. You are a big motivation 😊
