My Kaufman Dump Trailer Overloaded - In this video I was loading concrete into my 7 x 14 kaufman dump trailer to haul to the dump. I accidentally overloaded it, I didn't know by how much or if it would even dump. Its hard to judge when hauling concrete in a dump trailer because sometime there are a lot of voids so the trailer may look fuller then it is. Im always nervous something is going to break.

I rigged up a vertical helper cylinder for lifting my dump trailer when filled with sand or dirt. Once up 20 degrees it could dump anything. Have had to use a skid steer with forks on trailers too.

This is a good idea, did you use a bottle jack or an hydraulic cylinder?

That's not to bad, I put 7 ton in my 12k Kaufman and it dumped it. Only supposed to but 4 in it lol

I had a dirt job over the last few weeks. I moved and dumped 2 million pounds of dirt. On the last day I noticed my back axle was bent. Yay me!!

I’ve had to get in and shift some of the load to the tail before to help the ram. Yea, this will happen to everyone at some time or another……

MaxxD dump trailer go straight up and down and leave a leave a smaller pile and they will dump anything you put in them

Telescopic is superior imo Lifts from the front not the middle.

I see this kind of over load on people's dump trailer and I always wonder why people can't assist their trailer by giving some push as you lift.. Lol. I mean, machines do need help too sometimes.
