I've been publishing KDP books for a while now, and I'm excited to share my KDP income report for August 2022 with you! I've definitely seen my income higher in the past, but with all the competition I've garnered for my books, I've been working especially hard to create new ones that make sales. Though I might've earned more last year, I still have a number to be proud of that will only continue to grow as I experiment with more niches! ✰

Though my earnings may not be as high as last year's, the competition for my books has been FIERCE, so it's been a completely different game since last year! Regardless, I'm still happy with the results and am ready to work on growth. Q4 niches, here I come! 🥳🥳🥳 P.S. There's nothing wrong with the new KDP report dashboard! I clicked a few different buttons, and then all my orders from August showed up just fine. 🤦‍♀ User error, my bad! However, the covers it shows can be a little inaccurate, as it's prone to getting confused by your other similar books. But that's the only issue I've found! It's an excellent system. :)

Thank you so much for understanding!! I really appreciate that. It’s something I did at the start of my channel, and while my aim is authenticity, it really took a toll on my KDP business that I’ve been slowly working on recovering from. However, I’m now trying to find a good balance between being authentic and not divulging my secrets, so to speak! Thanks a million for your support! 💛

I haven't figured out Canva yet, but I do have the free account with them. BUT, I have put 3 lined notebooks on KDP and they are live now. I watched a lot of videos on how to do KDP but yours is the one that finally got me over the hump. I'm going to try to get 2 more out this week and then work on something else. It takes a while for an old dog to learn new tricks but I did it. Thanks, Bob

Great video and completely understand you not sharing niches! How many book covers do you make per sub niche that you find? I'm worried about amazon seeing it as 'spamming' and not sure how many to make. Thanks x

Thanks so much for your support! For me now, no more than 10 (with different designs, of course). I used to do as many as 30, but I focus more on quality rather than quantity now! I probably average at around five different designs per sub-niche. Hope that helps! :) P.S. I've never personally had issues with Amazon flagging me for spamming, even though I used to create books in a much spammier way at one point, so don't stress about it!

Hey Sarah. Just wondering do u create ur composition notebooks by using POD licensed Patterns from creative fabricate? Do u alter them or use them as it is?

I do a bit of both! I try to alter them a little, but sometimes, I'll leave them as is if there's nothing I feel I need to change. :)

Thanks a ton for your support!! I've been at this for about a year and a half now, I believe, and I've got around 600 books! However, I certainly don't earn money from all of them, so don't think you need to have that many in order to have a lot of sales! Quantity is good for experimenting, but always put lots of effort into every book that you create. :)

Kdp reviews team isnt professional at all, someone copied my book title and cover and reported my book, they didnt even look which book is older or published first and they blocked my book, I explained them everything but nothing changed, Amazon is a great plateform but their reviews team are like robots dont check anything

Dang, that's probably one of the worst possible scenarios in this type of situation. Contact KDP support and give them a rundown! Make sure they look at the age of each book as well. I hope it gets worked out! I can't imagine how frustrating that would be. :/

Hey Jenny 👋 I see your comments under a lot of videos. I just want to ask for some advice if you don’t mind. I literally started KDP last week, I published a few lined notebooks. Now all of a sudden I feel so demotivated and wondering if I am wasting time. Do you think if I just keep working hard I’ll eventually succeed? My problem is that a simple lined notebook takes me absolute hours to design and publish. A colouring book etc would take me absolutely ages! I don’t know if I just get quicker with time or .. not sure. I just use AMZ expander for niche and keyword research and it’s laborious. Yet I don’t want to invest in a program to help with that so early on. Would love your input!
