I have started cycling as well. Just for exercise, wal mart has got me into it as well. I bought a Kent Nazz. It’s decent for what it is. I am saving for a better one as well. Good video.
Thanks for watching. I know for a fact riding my bike everyday I lost some weight. I enjoy riding.I'm looking to purchase a nice entry level road bike as well.
I have had my kent roadtech for 3 years now and it still rides good, the only thing mechanical i have had to replace is the bottom bracket bearings,i have changed tires and that makes a difference on how it rides,it drops the weight and makes it faster,it's been a good bike for the money
Cool I'm glad you like the bike. I had no issue with the bike so far. I will get the bike fitted , a major must for me I'm 6'2, I may change my tires now just to see the difference.
@@MarathonVendingAutoPilot You'll be surprised,i was when i first changed tires, that isn't the only bike i own though,i also own a Ross from 1982,it's a fast bike also,it was about as much as the kent used,it seems to be a big bang for the money too and lightweight
That is dope. I put at least 20 miles a day on my bike 5 days a week. I plan to invest in a lighter bike or a car hahahah. All jokes aside I will get a lighter bike. Right now 10 to 13 miles takes me 1hour and 9 mins, sometimes 1hour and 30 depeding if I stop to take a break.
@@MarathonVendingAutoPilot Thats a lot of riding,i've ridden the kent and ross 12,16 mile ride before, both did good, the ross weighs in at 29 pounds, which is good for a bike from 1982,probably excellent for it's time
One of the best tips any one can give when it comes to cycling especially riding these cheap entry level bikes is don't neglect your maintancr if you are riding regually really every week you want to be doing a good service checking the cables the brakes the tyres then chain check everything clean, replace re oil as necessary and you will have your bike for years to come
I turned this GMC denali into a sleeper bike, dudes on $5000 bikes don't know what hit them. I spent 250$ + canadian and $270+ for upgrade parts, this bike now is easy a 900$ bike. The only downside is the weight of the bike at 14.5 kg, but once I set this up with nicer upgrades this bike was flying. No way in the world you would ever catch me unless you trained for months on a $5000 bike lol. I have a nicer carbon with carbon 60 mm wheels but that thing is always parked!! Go Figure since the most fun is on the cheap bike!!
For sure this bike will get you there. I road my bike 12 miles a day back in fourth 5 days a week. Three miles will be easy on the bike. Update on the condition of my bike from all the miles I road will be out tommorow. Stay tune for the update at 6PM EST. Please like and subscribe.
I've been an auto mechanic for 15 years I tested the road tech completely the cup and cone are wobbling up and down and the ball bearings are dragging.... I can't remember if the rotor is bent the axles do not spin freely unless the bearings are really loose then it becomes scary to ride because of the front wheel.... They sent me another front wheel in the mail and the rotor was noticeably warped and squashed... It might take a thousand miles for the cup and cones to be damaged
My other bikes I bought from Walmart have always had issues shifting up hill or whenever they are under great pressure. Maybe they need to be professionally tuned. Do you have any issues going up hills with this?
I still have the bike, I still ride it, sometimes I use it when Iam driving for dollars. Watch my next vid coming soon. You can def ride the bike if you are a big guy. I'm assuming you are tall?? I'm 6'2
JustTooOriginal I never had and issue hitting the gear when riding in regular position or race position. But if your butt is off the seat and riding it could happen but not often.
Michael’s Rich Life academy sports but mine is black and red. I bought it for $150,there was a sale going on. I’ve done about 150 miles on it so far. I’m currently waiting for the new seat to come in,the new reflectors, and rear blinking red light,I already have double bottle holders, bag seat, phone mount, and that’s about it on the bike.
@@MarathonVendingAutoPilot when your riding and your about half way through your small gears change the front gear all the way up to high. Like if you’re on gear 6 then you want to be in high gear. It’ll also help you go faster without having to put in as much energy
