@@Oelies_sb i have always committed to kickflips but maybe about a month ago i started landing them clean because i use to land with really bad toe drag
This is actually a really good example of learning a kickflip. He flicks up and through the dip of the nose, always lifts his back foot(which most people don’t at first). Also looks like he is actually more comfortable on the board than other people I’ve seen, did some shove it’s.
Just started learning kickflips today. I’ve been skating a month. I can Ollie while riding 8+ inches, and I can shuv it aswell. With my kick flips I can flip it really fast, and I can get almost one foot on, but I can’t fully commit. I learn things really fast so I’m hoping to learn it by Friday next week. Also, great progression!! Edit: I landed it on Wednesday on tar. I have landed it a total of 28 times since.
Dude this is so relatable. I’ve been trying to get these on lock for months and I’ve landed a handful but I always do them stationary and I need to start practice the moving ones. I don’t have good flat at home tho it’s tough. Congrats tho man! Was inspiring🙏🏻
thats sickkkkk!!!! im learning to do one right now, just started today. i actually skated 2 years ago but never really got into it because i suck. i learned the kicking motion that helped me with the rotation, now what i need to do is practice, centre mass and commit :D
Focusing on doing higher or clean ollie, I know it take months to perfect ,but trust me,it will make it easier to land other trick, don't rush yourself, good things take time🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻,focus on your ollie💪🏻
It took me a whole year to get my first one because I had this bad habit to flick down so I had to teach myself the right way. But now I have very nice ones. And when they are caught high they feel amazing 🤩
@@TrixerGaming try to catch it with your front foot. Then you need to do the same flick and tuck your knees back into the board, so you try to commit. If you can rotate it half way and land on the board you are very close. Know flick a bit harder and you will get it but really don’t give up on the step where you step of with your back foot and catcht it with your front foot. It will take it’s time to overcompensate the wrong musclememorie of flicking down. I mean I was the guy who flicked down for 6 months and I was able to get it. You also need to be able to Ollie onto a curb, at least one 180, good pupshuvit, and frontshuvit. Good luck 🍀😅
I just started doing mine it took me almost 2 days just to figure out how to actually flick it and make it do the kick flip movement this really inspired me
Hell yeah! im so close too. im at that stage where i just need the board to flip properly. I really wanted to try today but it is raining :( Will do it ASAP!
Bro your kickflips are how mine are at the beginning of your video. You got it so quickly, ive been practicing for a week and still cant get it. Ive watched so many youtube videos on mistake but I still cant get it 😂Good job bro
I'm currently on your day one. Got flick down just need to land. I'm going full commitment mode just like how I did with ollie and poo shuv. Wish me good luck!
Dang. You have a lot more patience than I did when I learned to kickflip. Took me over a year and I rage quit for the first five days and then just practices everyday until I got it
I learned how to heelflip around a month ago and have been practicing it alot and can do it somewhat consistently so now I'm trying to learn how to kickflip but the flick feels so weird compared to a heelflip because on a kickflip I have to flick more towards myself where as in heelflips I flick more out.
hi, i can ollie like 1 board and I skate from 2 months. I'd really want to learn kickflip, but i don't know if i got to get comfortable more on my board or i can just start today. Any advices? (sorry for bad english)
Hey just a question but what was your routine during the kick flip.Like how many hours did you practice or what your you started and what hour you finished
your first day looked better then all my months of attempts. I still havent gotten it. I try to work on other tricks when i feel the frustration building up XD good job though!!!
