Thank you for all the inspiration you give. I'm an old boy scout and you've helped me rediscover an old love. I'm now a dog walker who makes his own rope and has a small but growing dog lead business. Most of the hand made leads I see have really untidy knot work. Thanks to you it's a mistake I'm avoiding 🙃
Nice to see you back on RU-vid, Mikko. Another useful book for making Bellropes ect. is "The Harrison Book Of Knots", by P. P. O. Harrison (Master Mariner), 1964, truly recommendable.
Many fine books ! I'll have to look to see if I can add to my small collection. I have a few of those already, just need to ply the craft an practice more.
This is great! As a continuation of this "series", I think it would be really helpful if you could go over your favorite types of rope that you use on a daily basis (type, szie, hardness, etc.)! I know it would be incredibly educational to me.
