It's still crazy to think I had to get an emergency c-section for my second baby. As much as I had wanted another natural unmedicated delivery, things didn't work out that way. Nonetheless I am so grateful that baby and I were safe and healthy at the end of it all.
On top the c-section, I was dealing with a lot of life changes. Thank goodness things have settled down and everything is back to a norm.
If you are a mama that wants to choose a natural unmedicated birth, I highly recommend the book "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth". This was the book I read to prepare myself for delivery and although I had to get a c-section, the strength of all the women's stories resonated with me and reminded me of my own power and strength.
