The saddest part is that after this happened she just said "dog owners shouldn't let their pets walk freely on the streets" like if she was the victim. It's so sad man
Although she should be punished as hard as possible or rather stop driving entirely for that matter. As a fact without context I agree with the statement that pet-owners should try to avoid letting dogs run free, at least on some "bigger"/"busy" streets (Which kinda is even required in some countries implicitly), although it is pretty pathetic to use as an excuse like her.
Funny how she blames the owners by saying that they shouldn't let their dogs out like that but conveniently fails to mention/ realize that drivers also shouldn't be looking at their damn phones while driving.

As a polish person it's really normalized for people living in villages let dogs run around without a leash and it annoys me so much. My mom used to let my dog run around without guarding him and he got hit by a car. The person who ran him over admitted that they were texting while driving. Situations like this make me sooo mad just pay attention to the road
Why is that a normal thing to do? Not defending her in any capacity (not that I could defend human garbage like this), but letting your dog roam free without a leash or at least a fence is kinda dumb.
i rememebr we were on our way to look at houses then we saw a random dog in the middle of the road liek there was it’s house in the other side but we just stopped because it’s the smallest inconvenience to us, like bro sorry that your impatient and want dogs to instantly move. but it was weird to me to just see the dog chill with cars, liek it just circled are car and sniffed it then left

My friend and I almost got hit the same way, we were walking on the sidewalk, and the guy lost control of his car, and was one foot off from completely running us over. He then launched off the curb into a junction box. Unfortunately, he had a small child in his car. After calling the police and giving them all the information; We were called two weeks later by the detective asking if we'd be willing to appear in court as he was drunk driving and streaming at the same time. I hate humanity.
@Honey Bunny Quin and unfortunately it's left me with a severe case of anxiety walking on sidewalks with cars coming from by the backside. I can't do it anymore, I have to cross the road just so I can make sure I see vehicles coming.
@@JxzzCat In all honesty I feel pedestrians walking toward oncoming traffic not with it should be the law / standard. You have almost no chance to evade if someone fucks up and drives over the curb. When you walk facing traffic you can actually watch and see shit coming. I never walk with traffic to my back. It's insanity. I am not trusting people to not run me over. I at least want a chance at dodge or SOMETHING other then getting hit without warning. Fuck that. I don't blame you going the route you're going now. It's honestly the right way to walk in my opinion.
More context: - in this clip Charlie showed, she literally says that there are MANY dogs there, - she left the car to contact the owner, - owner wasn't home, so she got a phone number from the neighbors (who also complained about the dogs roaming outside all the time), - she didn't approach the dog (it escaped), - she continued the stream, - she was complaining that the dogs shouldn't be outside on the road and that it's against the law (yes, they shouldn't, but it's a common thing for rural areas in Poland), - she claimed to drive well, and that the top speed was only about 20kmph (12mph), - she tried putting all the blame on the owners during that stream and right after in her Discord, - when meeting the owners, she apologized and promised to cover any treatment costs (owners declined, stating the dog is probably fine (!!), and only has some problems with his paw), - her mods tried to hide the accident to avoid a Twitch ban by removing clips, and banning any mention of it in her chat/Discord, - during the clip, one of her mods was laughing in the chat, alongside some other chatters (e.g., saying to show the doggo, saying to reverse and repeat, and spamming xd), - in Poland, the fine for using a phone while driving is about $100, - some animal welfare organizations are taking steps to sue her for animal abuse (which will most likely fail, because she technically tried to contact the owner), - later (after the ban), she wrote that she felt remorseful, even if the stream didn't show that, because she was really emotional, and that she had learned her lesson about driving and texting, that people make mistakes, etc. - all in all, we hate her guts in Poland too, but we recognize it wasn't 100% evil behavior (e.g., some people would just escape). Personally, I don't feel bad for either the streamer or the owners; only the poor dog.
I'm 100% certain that she never mentioned the dog owner how she really hit the dog. I'm sure he/she wouldn't be ok contacting her that the dog was ok in that case.

"normally I wouldn't even have interest in your age bracket has to say about anything" I'm happy to see that you made an exception this time and it's nice that you're showing your appreciation. However, usually not listening to anyone who is younger than yourself about anything is probably based on sweeping generalizations and isn't exactly a sign of wisdom. Hate to add to this, but I lost my childhood dog the same way. Dude claimed he was worried about hitting me but had clearly been texting. I literally apologized to him for my dog running into the street before rushing to the vet and once the anger fully set in knowing that he lived around the block from me was absolutely gut wrenching.
This might be The first time I've seen Charlie get genuinely angry. Majority of the time he stays rather calm, but you can just feel the anger emanating off of him
Oh I personally remember a clip from Charlie back then the pandemic containment stuff began and there was a clip showing how a big dude (a customer) was aggressively threatening a young female worker of a shop, that dared to follow up the new rules and tried reminding him to put a mask on. I do not remember Charlie being more angry than that time!
He gets mad at stuff all the time. Whenever he covers drama, which happens a lot, he seems mad about something 70% of the time. Also, he argues with his twitch chat from time to time, and that seems to get him irritated as well
Let me clear some stuff up, I'm not trying to defend the streamer. 1. The dog survived and is going to make full recovery because she ran over the paw. The streamer also contacted the owners straightaway and offered to pay for the medical bills of the dog. 2. The neighbours said the owners keep letting the dogs run on the street and don't care about them. 3. The situation is still awful but it's common here in Poland for small villages to have dogs running around on the streets and accidents due to them are also pretty common.
It's like that in a lot of places in the US and it's annoying. I don't like going to my grandma's house because her idiot neighbors let their chihuahuas run loose. I've almost ran over them multiple times because they are small and stupid to the point of seemingly suicidal. It's like they try to run under my wheels and the trash owners don't speak English so saying anything to them is pointless
Another major point: whenever I’m in the car, I see about 1/3 of every driver is on their phone. There is definitely a lot of hypocrites in this comment thread who are lucky enough to have not hit a dog yet.
Yeah i agree with this, not defending the streamer either cause it's still awful but i ride a motorcycle and dogs on my neighborhood are always outside and try to run at me while im driving and i definitely dont want any of them getting caught up on my wheels or crash to avoid them, owners should definitely take better care of their dogs too
Many people that I know think of their dog as their child. I don't even want to try and imagine what I would be feeling and what I'd do if I was that dogs owner.
Thank you for always bringing attention to things like this Charlie, I lost my father to a drunk driver when I was 10, and even bringing it up with your reach is something I'm thankful for.
>looks down >crash It got hit in a second, because it ran into the street, as dogs do, to see what is coming. Here is the whole lore: After she ran over that dog, or rather its paw she was really concerned and even screamed for help, but the dog just ran away. The owners of that dog werent home, but their neighbour came out to see what happened. After that she explained the situation and they had a little conversation about their dogs running free. The neighbour called the owners and she gave the phone to that streamer and explained the situation once more to the owners. Around 2h later after the owners came back she decided to visit them and even offered to pay for everything. (didnt specify, but meant everything related to the dog). I was fortunate enough to not witness the scene with my eyes, but boy, let me tell ya, the sound of that poor dog's screams still haunt me to this day, to the point where whenever I take my dog out in a walk, I act like a paranoid schizophrenic, checking my surroundings every 2 seconds. But fr, though, I'm sorry you had to see that. I personally watched a dog jump out of someone's car on the highway and almost immediately getting hit by a semi truck.
In Poland there are little dogs everywhere. They usually linger around peoples property, since most homes are a few feet from the road, and sometimes they run across the road. But they are easily seen in advance when paying attention to the road. This could easily been a small child playing by the property though.

My mom accidentally ran over our dog's hind legs after checking the mail one day. She didn't know he had moved to stand between the curb and the back tire of her car. Our dog was okay, miraculously nothing was broken, the vet was amazed by that as well. After that day though, our dog never went near cars unless he was getting inside one for a road trip/vet trip. There's a longer video of the accident in an article from LadBible, it's extremely upsetting. When she hits the dog she gets angry and goes 'oh fuck, i just hit a dog, oh fuck fuck' and then leaves her car and tries to call out for an owner before going back to her car without actually checking on the dog. She then goes on to say that it should be a law that dogs should not allowed off the leash, basically blaming the dog/owner despite the fact she was very obviously looking at the phone when she hit it. As a polish person knowing how common it is for dogs to roam the streets alone, her behaviour is utterly disgusting and entirely preventable.

Dunno tf you are talking about Poland, the government announced new stricter laws not long ago and targets irresponsible and drunk drivers. There's video evidence and public outrage, this isn't getting 'tricky'.
I read from other comments that the owners are facing charges for not having their dogs on a leash and letting them roam freely since it’s against polish law. In my opinion I think both people are at fault. You can’t just let dogs roam in countryside where roads are 50+ mph and seconds can get either you or the animal killed, maybe both if it’s large enough. Having driven down backroads in Texas and accidentally hitting an owl on 65+ mph road (god I felt so awful) there was quite literally no time to react even with eyes fixated on the road, and it wasn’t worth risking my and my passengers life to swerve at 65+ mph for an animal. So they need to keep their fucking stupid dogs gated, leashed, or both. It’s reckless and dangerous on both sides.

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't, by subtracting where it is, from where it isn't, or where it isn't, from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance sub-system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position where it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event of the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has required a variation. The variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too, may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computance scenario works as follows: Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is, however it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vice versa. By differentiating this from the algebraic sum og where it shouldn't be, and where it was. It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called "air"

3:44 Despite there being a specific law in the UK prohibiting even touching your phone when driving (which was unnecessary legal bloat and comes in at 6 points on your license), I'm pretty sure this would be elevated to Driving Without Due Care and Attention, or possibly even Dangerous Driving. CD (careless driving) is a guaranteed ban, and DD comes with a prison sentence. That said, a neighbour of my parents got knocked over by a man who lives in the same village as him, who mounted the pavement (possibly while drunk), hit the man, broke his leg and killed his dog. The driver fled the scene. By the time to cops followed up on it, he was sober. He then sent his license back to the DVLA, rendering himself unable to drive. When it went to court, he got a fine but avoided a ban because he'd already handed back his license. But because he'd handed back his license he was able to reapply and get it back. And he did. And he was back on the road within a year of the incident, with a clean license. Way to go, justice system...

I am Polish and I sincerely apologize for the existence of this person and for her actions. Everytime I see someone who's Polish do something outrageous I feel second hand embarrassment honestly.
@@johnnyrosov animals are also animals, depending on the country area letting your dogs roam free outside is a normal occurrence, its more so up to the driver to just pay attention
As people like to add things to their dragon stories I will clear things out as a Pole: - The dog survived. - The streamer didn't run away, she called owners, and later came back and was willing to pay costs. Owners told her that the dog is gonna be okay. - The owners take L for letting their dogs run alongside roads without protection. (however this is common since villanges in Poland DO NOT SADLY take care that much of dogs. Main reason for dogs in villages is protect animals and house, the dogs are usually chained up to their doghouse. - L for the streamer for using a phone - The laws forbid using a phone if it used by hand, if she used sticking to the window thing, everything would be okay.
@@fredsilva7274 well, dogs cannot run freely and unleashed on public pavements/roads. That is literally the law. It's not justification of her actions, these are the facts. If police were to show up, both the bitch and the owners would get a ticket.
