Salvaged the parts out of the neighbors microwave when they threw it away last month. (I think the only thing that microwave has ever used for was to make popcorn because that's what it smelled like) Well I finally got around to getting everything together to put this thing together.I want to get an electrician friend of mine or somebody out there to take a good look at it and tell me what they think.

You should have your Green Ground from the Plug grounded to the frame of the transformer.. The same place as your Black lead to the Battery Clamp would work fine.. Frame Ground.

Yeah, I've rewired it since. But I don't hardly use this one anymore. I got an Alanson oil heater transformer I use now. Speaking of which I haven't put any fractal burns on any thing in a little while, time to do it again, problem is once you get started you don't want to stop.

It was really exciting using this one but it's retired for now, I'll probably only use it on larger projects the neon light transformer is just fine a little slow doesn't go as deep but it works and it's safer.

Sorry about your friend, apparently he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. You have to be vigilant when using high voltage and amps.
