I love how David allows his guest to narrate their story from beginning to where they are currently. You get a deeper insight into their successes and trials and tribulations hence the 3 hours which is worth every minute
Well done Solly Mankga ... Humbling yourself is leading you to higher places in life. God looks at the renewed mind and the heart desperate for change. You are that man.
I tell you what: this by far the best episode/interview ever on this show 👏🏾, I even saved it to rewatch it … it’s that good. The interview grew on me or I grew into it 🤷🏾♂️… Yeey this man has the Liver to say some things most of us (myself included) are afraid of saying… marriage, love, parents etc… He was dropping gems 💎 after gems 💎 yhuu 😮… so many takeaways to even mention. You are one brave man, kudos 👏🏾 for your courage… this was a MASTERCLASS 🎓
he must love his son thou 😢if I was God I'd stop blessing him because of that mxm now he wants that poor child to go thru the shit he went thru and he keeps blaming the baby mama his crazy he must go to court and fight to see that boy
Bra David is one off the best Interviewers/ conversationalists in the game. He has this special ability of having his guests feel at ease and comfortably share their experiences.
I am driving alone to Bushbuckridge from Gauteng this Saturday. This interview will keep me company in the winding beautiful-green-surrounded roads of Mpumalanga. Thank you once again Mashabela.
I have listened to this interview more than 3 times now. My take is that you have mastered your purpose so well. You have chosen you and your assignment in life. Keep it up 🎉welldone Solly. You are such a serial entrepreneur, a true people developer, an optimistic guy, very authentic, honest and genuine, curious, persistent, courageous, enthusiastic, and optimistic. What a story!!! May God direct your steps as you maneuver in life holistically.
I love his honesty and how he tells his story. May he find healing and start to see women differently. I hope we start learning how to love our children so that they don't feel neglected and get trauma from their parents, especially by moms. And I pray he builds a relationhip with his son.
Honesty truthfull is the key ,1day God will reavill Himself to this gentleman. forgiveness, love,so that He can heal Remember you dont like the way you grew up help your son to be a better person without anger bitterness ,Try my brother ❤
Wow .. what a story, what a narrator, what a host … everything about this 3 hours 34 Mins was insightful .. Thanks for your story … I hope more people get to see this podcast .
Solly's relation to women is like when you grow up without a father as a woman, then become a single parent supporting yourself and your child. You also build a wall of defence and want nothing to do with men.
Please reach out to your son. Try and be the bigger person and reason with his mother. Remember his mother raised him alone so of cause she’ll be protective, but the kid will appreciate you fighting for him.
Mothers think they do nothing wrong. If sh feels a burden y not giv th child to the father? Imagine I hv to beg a woman to see my child...she must b jesus's mother 😂😂
Please reach out to your child, forget about his/her mom no matter what she has done. Its not about her but YOUR OWN BLOOD May God & your guardian Angels heal you, give you wisdom & strength regarding that issue.
There's just something about this podcast. I've watched and listened to Solly mankha and Tshidi mankga interviews before on other platforms. And I was not inspiring and touching like it is to watch and listen here on king david. Bra Dave come on there's something special about this platform. Please incase one day you feel like stopping just think of me. I'm a loyal support who watches every episode because I'm learning alot from this podcast. God bless you personally and professionally. This Is the future. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is by far one of the best interviews I've ever listened to ...I was gloued to my screen for 3hrs ..interesting story . KingD is a legend guys. His interview skills is impeccable. Able to hold a discussion for that long and keep it interesting 🎉🎉🎉
The sad part is you dealing with your trauma but not being aware that you actually continuing the cycle with your own kid cause the boy will also inherit this curse until you fight yourself to change this won't stop. Be there for your son that's the healing.
Amplify this. So many of us are products of uncaring run-away fathers who find nothing wrong with their behaviour and think nothing of the pain, horror and complete distortion of humanity they inflict on their kids.
I honestly think he needs to deal with the trauma first and accept his son before he builds a relationship . It doesn't help to force relationships and traumatises the kid again.
@@anastasimankesemokgobu1724sometimes just seeing the beautiful soul that your child is softens your heart. Maybe having a relationship with his son will help him heal.
After Musa's interview, I must say this is my favorite! I've beeeeen skipping it for the longest time but I'm glad I finally decided to watch. What an honest take on his experience!
Spot on David- the recreation of the same trauma may recreate what he hated growing up through his son. Solly, thank you for sharing your story and heart.
if i have to pay for watching content, king david studio podcast would be my first to pay as a member. thank you for the quality content Ntate David. you are changing lives by the people you bring to the podcast. thanks to your team as well.
I watched this at three in the morning and I was amplified with the understanding that tomorrow will only, and can only be built by your own two hands. Thank you David for exposing us to such incredible individuals, I can't wait for you to have SKEEM GP! And a few will only speak about the trauma that the woman in our lives sometimes (unaware) put as through. Your podcast is proper and may it grow bigger.
This is a grootman! If you just arrived , I advice to watch the whole podcast. I’m busy, it has taken me 2 days to finish it but it was worth it. Thank you bra Dav❤
This has been very informative and motivating. I was skeptical to watch as I once watched Solly's interview on Unpacked with Relebogile Mabotja. I'm glad I watched. It felt like a first time and there's a lot I learned that I didn't know before about his story. Absolutely admire how courageous, driven and resilient he is. It really is inspiring.
Bra David, thank you for your intentionality and non judgemental approach when doing interviews. It's always so genuine and the servant-hood of treating peoples stories with the utmost respect is evident.
Poverty introduced alot of black children to crime, early pregnancy causing child neglect. Lack of support from the family is also a contributing factor. Black tax as well.
Great that he studied and turned his life around but some of his points and perspective on life , love are of a damaged person , he's entitled to believe that however it comes across as the same anger issue he talks about he suffers from it , in the process creating another Solly in his child , easy to say he must forgive his parents , family and baby mama but hard to do it , good luck to him and King David is thee greatest conversationalist in the world . Enjoyed this episode😎 .
Mdave, Your channel needs to be right there in prisons, schools, families and Hospitals to teach all people who are victim of crime. I love you man. May my Good Lord gives you more wisdom to conquer All odds.
This story has really touched me and gave me hope. This man has survived a lot of hardships. Thank you for sharing your story. I am going through some challenges in my business and you encouraged me to keep going.
Im happy that David confronted in depth ,man to man, the issue of Bra Solly and his son and the effect his decisions and actions will have on his innocent son . Big up David .
In the beginning, I felt so sad hearing how Mr Solly's childhood impacted him especially about his mom. As a mother, it made me realize the impact we have on our kids. I even felt how angry he is but was glad to hear in the end that he is working on his traumas. What a motivational episode & love how he preaches the important of education.
Thank you David for advocating for the boy😢!I feel sorry for all the pain Solly went through in prison, with the girlfriend and his mother. He's such an honest and intelligent father his son would really benefit from him!
Thank you Bra Dav for having Solly on... I love his interviews ,always interesting and fascinating. His stories are real testiment to everyone who has been imprisoned and wants to change there life around.
This guy is designed for greater things. Props to you Mr Mankga for your phenomenal story. I could even rewatch the whole interview without even complaining. What a constructive conversation you guys had. You really made me change the way I think about prisoners. It is indeed that crime bears bitter fruit, look at yourself how you have transformed. May the great lord bless you abundantly. Warmest wishes in every journey you are about to embark on.
Am glad bro solly knows the root of his trauma, and this is what a lot of men need to do confront the trauma and speak about it, that's the only way to heal... even in therapy you have to relive the trauma inorder for you to heal
Ntate Mashabela ke senganga. This interview started on some deep level, you were the mediator sir. And whilst we are deep in, he says "Where were you born" wow.
Well done once again for a great story. I think it teaches in so many things, inspiration to studying, reading, lessons of life in a sense of rejection, out casting etc...
One of great conversations. Such a hard worker bhuti Solly, indeed hardwork pays. Apologies for what you have experienced while you were young. I am glad that you survived such terrible situations so that you can be an inspiration to us today that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel.
Bra Dave you are born for this how you able to make people tell their true stories with such depth is amazing your energy always on top be it on radio and podcast
@@kingdavidstudio1 I have a lot say about how you have helped me to grow as person but one day I will meet you and express my gratitude towards you may you carry being role model you are nowadays we really don’t have people like you
Solly I'm short of words. You are my motivator, you raised me up when I see my life as dead but alive. May God bless you and keep going son of the African soil
I can relate to all the stories tsama Grootman, please get more Grootmans to come and share, as young men or young fathers we need these stories Bra D. I listened to Jakarumba, I related to his story and how he ended up Ko ZCC, heard skhumba- I related, especially his strict mother, watched podcast ya Ntate Nawa, now Bra Solly... My point is I am in my 30s and I see and hear where they are now and I can already get strength that I'll get there, hurdles are a part of life.
This awesome 👌 👏 👍 David you are the best....I mean you was born for this. Looking forward to meeting you and sharing my journey of 22 years direct imprisonment
I can personally relate to and a relationship with my mother, I never had one and I suffered from distinguishing what love is, with therapy and really understanding that our parents are humans as well and as we hold them to a greater standard, they will mess up, better to love and give the love you wish you had, I love the wise outlook you have bhuti. Thank you and may all your blessings come your way. Thank you Dave.
Buti Solly, what I love more is you praying for Dr Mamokgethi, it's so heart warming to find a male person relying on prayer. I think God for your life
Wow!!! You know I've listened to this interview for the 3rd time but it's like it's for the first time listening to it. I love it every time I listen to it❤❤❤❤❤.
Guys when he said prisoners are planning to revenge by making ladies outside fall in love with them , I just thought of Thabo Bester and Dr nandipha story and was like what if...........🙆
Thank you Bhut' David for bringing this gentleman on your show. His story is a story of hope and resilience... Many of us can learn a thing or 2 from him. God bless you and your channel.
King Dave your podcast is a gift to us... This is a very learning Channel, real people telling real stories about their life which we all relate too how as human race we face difficult situation.
❤❤❤Love how he owns his truth. But the things he said also make you realise how much pain black men are carrying.I also love the fact that he does not plan to have kids, because he is not going to put someone through the same thing.
Yoh very inspiring talk, most of the time we complain and give up about very simple things in life, it's not only inspiring for ex offenders but for people who are unemployed as well.
i've met bra Solly 3 times, and Hes an amazing human being, he shares information and very chilled!! its good to see you on this platform touching more lives!!
I have been this podcast for the second day now due to loadshedding. It is long but I told myself that I will finish it. Every time I come back I start from the beginning because I did not want to miss anything. I always say this that the traumas Black people have are soo deep and enrooted from the apartheid atrocities. It is unfortunate that the elite and the privilege ones always downplay this notion. Truth is we inherited so much from apartheid.
Only if women would understand that single parenting is hurting kids they would stop this thing of equality and keep legs closed until marriage is formalized
On the surface he truly looks like a changed man. I just hope that he finds it in his heart to do right by his child because his child will need more than just money, and he needs to break that cycle of nit having the love and support from your parents as he was deprived of that through no fault of his own. Great interview 👍
Well said🙌 I couldn't go further with listening to the interview after what he said about his own child... 2 wrongs don't make a right and I'm glad David called him out on that.
I really dont see the value in marriage in today's society and the laws in place. 95% of the time your wife is there only because you can provide soon as things go south she let's go of you especially when you cant provide.
I never watch podcasts from the start until to the finish coz I get tired , but today I did with Solly Mankga I'm inspired, The fighting spirit he has, the human resilence ❤, Thank David for bringing him on the show 🎉 Wow
What an interview,Solly is clear and focused-David is a good listener...Both of them are best leaders.I wish we had such leadership in our South African parliament.
Wow Bra David you are wise, especially on that part where you were advising Bra Solly about his kid. The thing is you don't usually give your opinions, so today was the first time I heard you tell a guest his mistake.
I salute the bravery of saying your heart and without prejudice. Thats the spirit 👏 and the other thing that I learnt myself during my time in prison too,,, There's is no too late and there's no too early in life"...trying to say in the right time all will prevail.
Loved this podcast. I appreciate the self-awareness of this man. He recognises where he went wrong and his traumas, and he’s continuously working on himself, and others. A true inspiring South African story. 🫶🏾
