This is the kinda person who is supposed to be heading Ministry of Youth and Children in this country, not a 70 year old. He speaks and understands the language of our youth today. Danko boi. Be blessed
The level of intelligence within all ghetto boys who turn out to be great men like this Grootman is amazing, my heart breaks when I see the our little boys on drugs and crime, but this Grootman let's me remember that God has a plan for all of us, God knows the beginning and he knows the end. Can never throw people away.
Themba is a genius, he is a good storyteller, he is business minded, and he refuses to let his past be an excuse of him failing in the future or even going back to crime. I enjoyed the podcast, thanks tp Grootman King David and his team for that. I am truly inspired not only by the story, but by the character of the guy
I love how David takes it all the way to the beginning and slows down the narrative so that the story makes sense.. this guy had started at the speed of lightening!⚡️⚡️😂
Recently met and have had the privilege to work with Mr Themba Lukhele. He is super intelligent, driven and one of the most grounded human beings.A true blessing to everyone within his reach.Thank you for a brilliant conversation 🙏🏿
For those of us who know him personally he is the kindest most humble and loving human being I know. He is a great man he looooves children not just his own, any child. I love you bhutwam, you know I do. Gugu sends her love.
I grew up esali right next to mgadi grootman was always humble even though we knew what life he leaved I remember when I use to sell cigarettes by the traffic lights between our 2 sections he would come hang with us and even buy us beers though he didn't drink as much as he was our robin hood but a man grows and becomes wise so to bra Mthimban it's ok to change bhuti and futhi don't regret your past we become wise through our past experiences
David you are a journalist and this is what sets you apart from other podcasts. You are skilled and brilliant. You know how to ask questions so that a story is told. You are in charge of your interviews.
I'm so inspired by his wisdom and great story telling skills. I haven't read his book yet, but he's already one of my best authors. I applaud him. Another blessing of an interview. I hope many get to see this...
This is a Man We Respect as a Family...We Saw you in that Uniform My Brother, Humble as always...Same person who I know before you were arrested, during the arrest and even now after. I wish people can watch and Learn...Those who are already on a wrong path must watch this and ask if they are further challenged...But definitely need to stop. We are Proud Of You My Brother...Never Stop Talking.
Mr Themba you reminded me ngo the late Sibongiseni "super" Mtshali who was an ex convict. He passed on 2018 uSuper was a hero in our community , kuma inmates even to ex convict, he even open an organisation called MA AFRICA HLOKOMELA. Keep up the good work Bhuti wami
I am deeply humbled to watch you man of God narrating your life changing story and how you help society change Nzimande omuhle. I am a professor at university and an apostle and archbishop I will be glad to have a person like you partnering with me in community engagement and God will make our paths cross in Jesus name.
I think we need to get these guys to be hired by Crime Intelligence, Hawks and all these departments and they need to be given a bigger platform that this so that they can teach this youth that is so obsessed by/with crime..Dankie Themba May u grow in yo vision and God use u further than he has already started..
Wise word's coming from a wise men...what an inspiring we need more peeps like this in our country who've repented so he didn't dwell on his past. Keep on doing the good work.
How I always listen to this Man. I love the fact that i dont judge because i dont qualify to, only God can judge us. I just respect smart people. Thank you for sharing and keep on changing lives
You are such a great interviewer sir, your guest was all over with his story but you maintained the story telling. Loved that you broughy him back to the story half the time.
Wow, this episode just appeared on my feeds and I just clicked. Wasn’t even expecting to be inspired this much. I don’t even know this guy but he left me so inspired. I had to even share the episode with my friend. May he be protected and spread the wisdom as far as reachable 🙏🏾
Had many pleasant outings at his Lounge SkeemGP. Themba is a great host. If he had to open a lounge today, he can be better than Konka. Colison White Sunday Sessions were out of this world. The first sing along RNB Sunday Sessions.
@King David Studio, 47H08- to 47h35, i have a friend who is a Doctor. Story, the guy was arrested for a crime that was committed by dead people and he served 6years for a crime he didn't commit. Cut it shot, he was arrested while in varsity, just happened to spend weekend in his home town. Story shorty, he came out of prison 6 years later, back to Varsity, complete studies in record time and next he was a big time Dr. Next when he was trying to change jobs, all companies/hospitals were rejecting him because of the criminal record (the crime he did not commit). Eventually he moved to overseas, so RSA is one DR down because of this discrimination. Lukhele i do understand the pain, by the way...I gave the guy just over R100k to start his life over again overseas
Through word of mouth. Growing up in Vosloorus, he was always the talk of the town. Until I saw his convoy this one time when he was having a grand party at his lounge... from that day, I wanted to have a syndicate of my own!😂😂😂😂😂 But God had other plans. I encountered God while hiding from a police chase (Amabherete) at 15.
What thing I have learned about criminals is that they are very intelligent, and from the first sentence, you can hear hore he's a smooth talker, more like a salesperson, which made him navigate. But it's good that he has changed for the better. Brilliant guy
Woow so inspiring such powerful wisdom am learning truelly 🙌to king david please keep up the powerful work you are an inspiration even to me an ordinary lady from Mabopane 🙌🔥🔥🔥
Themba is a vibe regardless of his past. I wish him all the best in his new journey. King David you are a good listener and you respect everyone. Well done.

That's exactly what I'm saying about Thabo Bester. He needs to help the banks, the police , the correctional services regarding his experience all he did it . He has the experience we don't have .
I am catching up with these podcast and find them very interesting. I am getting to know these people better through all this. Thanks to you the King, may you stay blessed. On to the next one now... well, maybe tomorrow...
If this guy didn't reveal very early into the interview how long he was imprisoned for , you would have thought he spent 15 to 20 years. He only spent 3 years but yoh , guy is here 😮
This is a great podcast. It has substance man. Different topics. I enjoyed it from Tshepo Maseko’s passionate rants to MUZi’s humor and youngins finance experiences proper stuff
The younger generation really need to get ahold of this information. I know a guy who use to tell my brother, if he is never been to prison he is not a man!! Thank you Skeem for stating nothing is good about prison. I wish the younger generations can really learn from your experience, as the saying goes a wise man will always learn from the mistakes of others!!!
We were privileged to have Themba at our school today. He spoke with passion and compassion with our teenage boys. I hope they learn that crime and drugs doesn't pay.
I think skeem hates prison this much due to the fact of how clean he likes presenting himself and how filthy that situation is..literally see it in his eyes when he speaks about it😂
This guy is a good story teller. Someone who can make you believe in whatever he is telling you. That`s why it was easier for him to do what he was doing. Hope he doesn`t go back to life of crime.
