Hi - Nifty video! Loved the desert and elevated scenery. It’s a fun perspective from your bike. My late brother lived in Vegas for over 30 years and came to be very fond of the desert. Appreciate the video.
Best place to hike is Valley of Fire!! that place is so cool. I went out to the Firewave and it is by far, the quietest place I have ever been. And otherworldly in its beauty!! Great content, btw.
BEAUTIFUL LIFE! We’ve been in Las Vegas for 1 year in a rental. We’re realizing when we buy our house it might make sense to get away from the hustle-bustle of the city.
Vegas got so extremely expensive also compared to what it was. Also depends if you have kids. That takes flexibility away bc you are looking for good schools as well.
I visited my son working at the Ranch in Death Valley. I like Pahrump. Luv ❤️ moms Diner. Will be back and hang out for the winter months. And New Mexico in the summer.
Very good drone work bro! I have family in Parhump (Rainbow Ave) but I live in Sydney! Always love coming to your town, peace and quiet are my favourite part.
I am a huge fan of Wonder hussy ❤, your neighbor a short small town away. Raised in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, I first fell in 💕 with the desert in west Texas. The , as Buzz Aldrin phrased , magnificent desolation stirs something inside many of us. Glad to have found your channel ❤. redbaron Chattanooga
We are in west Tx now (big springs) looking to get out. Pahrump, Vegas, and Reno are the choices we have in Nevada. Originally from South Carolina, but we have been chasing money for the last 8 yrs. Just looking to relocate for a year or 2 then move on unless we get that this is a place to call home feeling
Enjoyed your video. My wife and I have been here going on our 4th month and really are enjoying it.....got soooo tired of Vegas after 30 years, I to have those once in a while trips to Vegas when I have to see a specialist, most of my visits are on the north /west side of town so I go out the back way (hwy 95) which is a tad more conveinent.
Great video. I live in Phoenix and been looking for "toy friendly" properties with a detached shop and they are just too expensive. Pahrump recently came up on the radar in my search. Slightly cooler weather, more rural feel, less traffic, reasonable access to a large airport for when I have to travel, decent internet, larger properties, many with detached garages. Having a road coarse down the block is awesome. Going to take a trip up next weekend to get a feel for it. I haven't done much OHV stuff but always wanted to, just didnt have any place to store the toys..
Dude, you've got it made. You know how many people would love to have your life, myself included. Living right by desert motorcycle trails and then to have track day on the road bike on the weekends!?
How is the local law enforcement when it comes to riding sports bikes? Are they fairly cool or do you have to look out for troopers hiding on the side of the highway?@@denleydigital
@@mrdrivebytruckerpahrump is a great town. I completely understand what the guy said about growing up here and it not being a good thing. I like the idea of kids growing up in rural areas but the world has become a different place. But for us old-er people this place has it all without the traffic. The people here are amazing and sweet.
If I was younger that would be the perfect lifestyle for me, I love the desert and have a road bike and sometimes a dirt bike too. I tuned in because I've just watched the Wonderhussy video where she visits Pahrump's 4th July celebration. Just scanned through your films and I see you're wearing RST leathers on your track days, they're a British company, I've been to their factory shop near Hinkley I think (UK Midlands). Surprised to see a Nevada man wearing them.
I actually just replaced my RST suit with A*. I was disappointed a kangaroo panel tore (not a seam) in a mild crash. That video is on my other channel Denley Digital Racing. I honestly didn't realize RST was British, but it is very clear on the tag. I ride a Triump Daytona 675R and Triumph Rocket III, though. And there are plenty of older riders that ride the trails around here.
Ive been out this year looking for my final place in Pahrump. Havent found the perfect one yet but in no hurry. I would love a Shop/dominium but havent found one there (yet).
I’m thinking of moving to Pahrump since I need RV parking and want at least 1 acre. But I went there last weekend and the wind was picking up all kinds of dust and dirt. I have a son with a heart condition so this worries me, is it mostly dusty there? Do you wake up to cars layered in dust in the morning ? Any info will be appreciated , thank you . Cool vid btw!
I don't have much trouble with dust. It does get windy, and this being the desert it will get dusty, and the mountains will look hazy. Some people avoid going outside then. It doesn't bother me much. But most days are clear and sunny. I don't get much dust inside my house. Some people complain. But they probably have an issue with their windows. Or maybe nearby construction sites aren't doing the required dust remediation. I've heard that is an issue in Mountain Falls. It would probably also be an issue if you live near vacant lots or open desert with no landscaping or block fences. I never wake up to layered dust. But it does accumulate in corners of window sills, in my garage, etc.
Pahrump has sure changed since the mid-80's when I sold a Log home kit to client there then, and even the early 90's to mid-90's when I traveled through there quite a few times and visited a friend multiple times who grew up there and who had moved back. We did a lot of exploring around there and pretty far and wide at times, Death Valley to Beatty and as far south as the Kofa Mountains and east into Utah, and the Sierra(mountains) to the west, and north into the Smoky and Railroad Valleys. Will be visiting a lot of those areas again but won't be sleeping under the stars or in a tent unless I backpack into back country for a few days. Looking forward to more vids from you exploring or playing around Pahrump, but slowing down your territorial and horizon pans would be appreciated. ?_ How do you get your drone to follow you. I suspect it has something to do with your phone? I have never had a drone, but seriously thinking of getting one.
It is a Skydio 2+, and I'm really impressed with the tracking ability. Unfortunately, Skydio pulled out of the consumer market, so it would probably be difficult to buy one now.
@TreDeuce-qw3kv yes, but probably not as well. My DJI Mavic Air has tracking, but it wouldn't follow me on the dirt bike at all. I'm sure tracking has improved in newer models. But my understanding was that Skydio's tracking and obstacle avoidance is unmatched.
Denley, I live in Vegas and am looking at Pahrump for a weekend place to ride atvs and VW Baja Bugs. Do you like the far south end of town, Vicki Ann Road by the Cali line Dry Lake Bed ? Was out there recently, looks quiet but lots of places to explore. Thanks
My usual trails are the other side of Homestead, after Quarter Horse ends. But coming from Vegas, Cathedral Canyon might be a good spot for you to start. Mountain stuff like in this video is on the other side of 160. Wheeler Pass is right past the racetrack.
I finally replaced the GoPro Max. I do not recommend, but I'd sell it cheap. I used 2 different Insta360 cameras for this video. I recommend the Insta360 X3.
I haven't done much hiking in Death Valley. Artist's Pallette is good for a short hike. I did that a few weeks ago. I usually find somewhere off the beaten path, but those roads are closed from the flooding.
Really cool video. My family and I are moving out there next week. I'm excited to get my Baja Bug out on some of the BLM trails, I just have to find them. Luckily, it looks like Pahrump is surrounded by BLM.
we have some of the same content going on. became a resident 3 yrs ago with my wife. was from joshua tree before living in wi. got bit tired of the snow and moved back to the southwest. what ya riding for the street?
Awesome vid! I’ll be moving to Pahrump in September from TX. If you want hook up to ride, let me know! I’m on a ktm 450 xcfw. Looking forward to riding out there.
@@denleydigital not sure yet, I’ll be checking out the area in August to look. Got a new job that is moving me out there. Pahrump looks like off-road heaven!
@@poketravels9466 I did make the move. Pahrump is pretty cool, just make sure you have a good job lined up. Very conservative town. Vegas sucks! It’s very California there now. Kind of missing Texas to be honest.
Awesome video! I was reading online and it said like by 2035 over like 400 water wells will fail in Pahrump. Have to drill deeper. Any local inside scoops
The aquifer in Pahrump Valley is mostly replenished by water running off the Spring Mountains to the east. There is still a little snow up there yet to melt.
It's in the name "Pahrump" look it up. I used to live here during the summer time for my seasonal job in the late 90's. I still think about this area, I loved it when there.
I don't really watch that, so I'm not sure. There is crime. Seems inevitable with a low cost of living. Coming from the Chicago suburbs, a lot seems a little weird to me about small town desert life. Like rodeos or redneck pool party. The people I've met seem nice. But they aren't the ones getting arrested on TV.
Question. Tell the truth . Is it boring in Pahrump? I was considering moving my family there. We live in las vegas all our life . Its expensive for a decent home here. And i was looking at home prices there in Pahrump. I dont know about the schools and the crime rate. Also i am concerned about the neighborhood and minorities. I am not white so is there racism there?
If I didn't have a dirt bike, I'd probably find it boring. It is a rural town. I've never seen any racism. I've seen "f*** Biden" flags. The couple that bought the house next to me are Hispanic. Someone stole my drone once. I haven't experienced any crime otherwise. But crime and low cost of living often go together. Not sure about schools.

@@denleydigital Wife and I tried moving out here about many years ago. The only grocery store here was a privatly owned store up near the post office, the only casino & motel here was Saddle West and the motel Best Western that we stayed in waiting for our land and mobile home to be set up but we got screwed my a company called "Tom Terry Homes" so ended up moving back to Vegas until 4 months ago. My, my, my how its grown. Back then we could by a nice double wide and 2.5 acres of land for around 85,000.00.
