Hey man!! The military community appreciates what you do. I'm a soldier and a boy mom. My son is the best thing that ever happened to me. He has paid the price of being a military brat his whole life and has been a trooper about it. I love your story. Keep pushing out the tunes. Love your work.
Adam as a crusty old retired military guy I have to give you thumbs up. Just because you never wore a uniform DOESN'T mean you never served. Your support of the military and your love of all my brothers and sisters proves you're every bit as much a patriot as all of us. And on you being a father I'm jealous. I've never had kids (I'm gonna use an Obama line) but if I did he'd be like yours or be very good friends with yours. I owe you a nice bottle of bourbon!
Thank you for your service. You have a really unfortunate last name btw, did the other people you served with give you a lot of shit because of it? The reason I'm asking is because when I glanced at your YT name my monkey brain read "sam softdick" so I couldn't help myself and had to say something
@Robert Spencer don't let that stop you use it to motivate yourself. So you couldn't be a Marine that means you were made to be something else so go be it and be the best at it I am sure Chesty would agree.
Mug shot look better then all 9 or 10 of mine😩🤦♂️🤣😂. And yes sir, home 8 years now, a walking miracle. We live in a country that gave me a second chance when I chose too work for it. Couldn’t agree more and love your videos brother, you speak for a lot of us. Thank you too your son for his service you did a fine job with him💪🙌💘
Do your thing adam I did 13 years in prison for trafficking cocaine. I am not a Certified addiction counselor about to get my bachelors, and a everyday father of 3, still with their 1 mother Anyone can change, except people who don't believe others can change. They will always be assholes
Good for you man, those are the best kinds of stories to hear. I’ve got a buddy here in Salt Lake City, Utah Named Damian Trujillo, who has a very similar story as you and has a big social media foot print. I know he’s always looking to network. Take it easy!
Congratulations on your comeback. I'm absolutely sure that it was filled with blood, sweat, and tears. Thanks for helping people overcome and succeed, like you did!
From a vet thank you for the video man you represent everything that we go to fight for thanks for supporting our troops and thank you to your son for joining the military as well God bless and God bless America
Also didnt serve but love our military..my son is serving...and i also have had custody of him since he was 3..he is 22 now..to bad us single dads dont get the props like single moms..Great video man...keep it up
Ya Yeet Ideally, having both parents, but it's difficult to be a single parent either which way you put it. As long as they work, keep their kids disciplined, and cared for; I give mad respect.
We look at our lives, accept our punishment, do our time and get back in the fight. 9 years, my 30's, gone. One year out I had a son. He is my everything. God blessed me with him. God bless you Adam. And God bless our soldiers, We stand together.
ADAM GIVES ME HOPE, CAUSE IM A TATTOOED, EX GANG MEMBER, AND I LOVE THIS COUNTRY! IM A 3% AMERICAN PATRIOT, AND A PROUD EX MILITARY SERVICE MEMBER. KEEP IT GOING BRO🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👍
We're all young and dumb at one time it's what makes us Americans Just so you know this Marines got your back and every other patriot in the United States
God do I love this country, and our troops that laid down there life for me and my family"s freedom, so when ever our flag rises, your damn right I'm gonna stand and honor the fallen, because no matter what these protesters feel about our heroes , when you kneel, that's as bad as shitting on their graves
From a military veteran I would like to say Thank you for your service! Service to your country isn’t only joining the military. Service is being a great teacher or member of your community. Service to your country is NOT being a drag or blight to our nation. Raising good kids and being a good father. That’s service to me! Good on you man!
I'm a vet. Also was a vollie FF and Ambulance memeber. You don't have to a true American not serving. But being a true American as a patriot and proud? That what makes me happy. You stand for what makes this country great!!!!! You dust off the bad and learn. Get on your feet and do positive. No one is ever perfect. No one. But we are all American! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪👍
Good luck in the military Tamin. I wish you all the success. And Adam I have some mental disorders so I couldn't serve, but I don't let it affect me. Your videos make me very confident in myself. Thank you. And the Army is the best branch!
Love man I respect you, listen to your music, know where you're coming from. I live in Baltimore City Maryland I'm a father of two. I'm also a reborn again man through recovery change my life. As an everyday hardworking American my listen to your music and I feel you. I work in and out of Baltimore City on a daily basis. I see no racism. I see hard working men and women trying to provide for the family. The only racism I see is pushed by mainstream media. I had a into that my house recently where my yard was burglarized. when I posted it I mention nothing about race. I'm just saying I respect you man keep doing what you doing I will continue to listen and share your music
Hey man I'm a Marine and I appreciate your bravery and your hard work and the laughs that I get to have when I have spare time to myself due to my busy schedule. Hearing your story and all that you did, inspires me and it is the soul reason why I serve this country, for people like you. Thank you for putting a few laughs in my days and a few smiles and pic ups that I needed when I was down
Don't have to serve to be a good person. I served in the Marine Corps for nearly 6 years and honestly you'd fit right in at my unit. Great guys who didn't get offended by everything and could have a good time but also knew how to put shit aside to work together and get shit done. No one worth a shit cares if you served if you are good person. We all did stupid shit, some of just never got caught. Much respect for you and good luck to your son.
You're a good man, and as long as you raise a kid with a moral compass and a sense of humour about him, I think you've done a bang up job. Be honest about your mistakes, everyone makes them, wiser men talk about their errors to help others learn, lesser men think they are always in the right and judge without knowing the situation. It's all bullshit anyway and you're right to call people out on it.
Adam Calhoun you are an inspiration to all, you have raised you son the same way I raised 4 boys of my own and I am proud to say that they are as outstanding young Patriots just like their father and Grand Fathers, 2 in the armed forces and 2 with great jobs. We need more fathers like y'all to teach these young ones to be men and Proud Americans, I fear for the future of this country. Congrats on your sons future Military Service God bless & thank you young man.
Adam... my heart goes out to you and your Son,,, im 36 my Son is 6 and im going through a similar yet different shituation in life... you have inspired me to be the best man, the best father. and the best everything i can be and will be in my son’s life until the Lord calls upon Me... 👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻🙏
If you don't like Adam Calhoun or his story you don't like underdogs this guy turns his life around and becomes a great role model and leader for many others to emulate and follow. You sir are a true patriot and great American as well thank you for having the balls to say the truth and not hold back. That is part of what made this country great was standing up for what's right and staying the course as the underdog. Keep up the great work man God bless you and your family.
We're not all the same and that's what makes us strong. Each individual make a few mistakes in life it's all about how you grow after it. GOD BLESS AMERICA
You name me one person who didn't grow up young and dumb and I'm going to show you a f****** liar. Adam did it I did it and I guarantee you did it. That's part of growing up
Wow, awesome video. I got tears from it, the bond between father and son, such a beautiful thing. Love and respect to you sirs, from Sweden. I love all of your videos.
You are an awesome guy, i enjoy yours and upchurch's songs and i also enjoy these kinds of videos you do. I am serving this great nation and i wanna say thank for your support in us. And congrates to your son the military will do great things for him
As a serving LEO in my own country I approve of this message. Nothing feels better than seeing a guy that used to be heading down the wrong path straighten out and fly straight. Personal responsibility solves a lot of issues.
Obviously you read some of the comments, so you know that despite the hate mongering snowflakes, you got a lot of love from people out here in You Tube land. Keep being you
Young Man I am a military vet. I am a African American Democrat. All I can say is brother I love your channel. The bond you and your son have is incredible. You speak nothing but the truth. And good luck to your son he made a excellent choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I was young my parents pretty much abandoned me. I stole, fought, sold drugs, and even tried to kill someone. I went after someone with a gun but my girlfriend at the time convinced me not to. I started smoking weed, drinking a lot, and started into pain killers. My grandparents took me in and now I work full time as an iron worker.
Good for you bro. Left your boy a message on his page. Have respect for your grit, no apology, no excuses, work hard and have fun attitude man. Recently saw a few of your music vids. Didn’t know you did that. Shits nice. Comment is getting a little long and weird now... haha. Seriously though, nice to see people like you nowadays. Stay moving forward and I thank you for the love for the veterans. And thank you, for your son deciding to protect our great way of life in the USA. God bless #MERICA
Adam you rock! You don't have to serve in the military robe a proud supporter. My father was a sergeant in the US ARMY infantry I am an ARMY brat and will always support our troops, help our vets when I can and by GOD I will always stand for our anthem and RESPECT OUR FLAG
How long ago was this mugshot??? People do grow up and they learn DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN!!! NORMAL PPL DO NOT DO IT AGAIN!!! Then you have ppl that want to bring you down. DO NOT LET THEM!!! Love your content. Thanks for sharing!!! Your a good dad!!! One that loves his son and does not want him making the same mistakes!!! There need to be more dads out there like you!!!

Bro, I have the same story. I DREAMED to be in the military but acquired epilepsy when I was 15, got in some trouble at 18, then became a dad at 19. I am now 34, and I own my house and my son lives with me 100% of the time. Keep posting brother! ML&R from Texas.
Keep up the awesome videos you are a true American to the core. My brother just signed up for the US army and he leaves this Sunday for boot camp. Thank you for your service to your son. Stay awesome man
Thank you for serving tamen! You'll have a lot of fun in the army served in the army myself, and thank you Adam for showing so much support to the veterans!
Looks at son and says " best thing i will ever do in my life." 😂😂😂 Then goes on to talk about being gay. Im just playing Adam. Im watching all your vids. I love em
I've fucked up alot. beat my own demons. I have full custody of my 2 year old now. I'm modeling my life and everything i do after my father. you are a great dude Adam. much respect from Little shit town in W.V.
I like what your sayin bro! I have a similar story, Grew up and took custody of my boys as a single dad, and 10 years later I have 3 young respectful young men that I am proud of. Keep doing your thing man
Yeah but we gotta bust each other’s balls! Dumb Jarhead. It’s all part of the fun and brotherhood of the military. Don’t worry Baker this Army vet won’t judge you to bad because you chose a department of the Navy! Ha ha! Any way good luck my fellow brothers. Keep your head down and your powder dry.
All branches: insult each other as joke All branches fighting: Has each other's back Coast Guard: Hey guys, what about me? All branches: STFU All branches are important, just a joke I got from a friend
Douglas & Marcy O'Dell We don’t associate with those guys. There is only one reason you’d want to be on a sub for 6 months with all men. ;). They are just the Taxis of the Corps
Bro lots of respect for the man you are and doing a great job as a father. You are a true America patriot. Thank you for the great content in your videos!!!!
Adam, you got mad respect from all over the place, I was fit for service 6.5 years ago, was on my way to enlist, long story short, I've been recovering from one injury to another the entire time, my back is in permanent pain, my leg was totally destroyed and reconstructed and I went legally blind, over night, from pulling a 50 foot full scorpion on asphault, that sh!t would have been a record if I didn't die and was recessitated, honestly, my body is a train wreck, I'm trying to get back in shape to enlist in the Marines now, to Tamen, keep up the good work man, my great grandfather went to enlist after Pearl Harbor, was denied because he was color blind, he was drafted a week later, Dan B. Sargent US Army 504th bomb group 421st squad, he landed in the Pacific with the Marines and made a career out of it, he retired as Brig Gen US Army after deploying National Guard troops to the Gulf wars, plenty of career opportunities in the military.
