Hello there. I wanted to give you all an update on my breast biopsy here so you don't have to wait for the vlog. First off, the core biopsy samples did not show malignancy. I do have to have surgery however. I have Adenomyoepithelioma which is a rare type of tumor. I will have to have a lumpectomy to remove it completely. While these types of tumors are generally benign, they can turn malignant. So, I have to have a complete local excision to remove the tumor along with healthy tissue. They need to biopsy the entire tumor to make sure there is no malignant tissue. I do not know when that will be. I am waiting for the surgeon's office to call me so I can set up an initial appointment. The good news is, so far it's appearing benign. But I still have to have surgery to be sure. I want to thank you for all your good thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it. So much!
I did not know how to get ahold of you but I been thinking of you today which is Monday and hope the results were good for you. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thank you. I just posted an update on my community tab. Do you know where to find that? If you go to my channel you should see where it says "community" and then you can click on that. I have a rare type of tumor but so far the samples are showing benign. I have to have surgery though to remove it because apparently this type of tumor can turn malignant. They will test the whole tumor to make sure it's completely benign.
@@AngieWade Thank you for the update, I was worried about you. Glad no sign of malignancy at this time and it sounds like no chemo or radiation. So that's all fantastic. Relax now and have a wonderful Christmas.
